As per IS standard size of brick is 19*9*9 Considering mortar gap it becomes 20cm*10cm*10cm=.2m*.1m*.1m 500*.2*.1*.1=1m³ Therefore for 1m³ brick work we just need 500 bricks
Minimum average compressive strength of brick shall not be less than 7.5 N/mm2 when tested as per IS-3495 (Part- 1):1976... what you said is for Minimum "crushing" strength of brick is 3.50N/mm2..

Sir, stair's angle depend on the plot area of the house. Isn't it? Or it's applicable on any sort of plot, or doesn't matter whether the plot's area is large or small?
It should be applicable to almost any case, but would also depend on local regulations, and how much height you want to gain. There is a golden rule about stairs: 2xRiser + 1 step = aproximatedly 64 cm. This rule considers the natural step length of an average person and makes it effortless to use.
Very important knowledge you have given sir.
This is a fantastic way of imparting basic knowledge of Civil engineering to fresher civil engineers. So grateful on this development.
