RIP Bill Paxton. The only actor to be killed by a Predator, an Alien, and a Terminator.
Not til the sequel. People are going to be correcting you now. LOL
Oh yeah i forgot he was the punk in the beginning of terminator that got his chest punched through right?
And I believe also by a cowboy in Tombstones.
Original real Original 🤡
yet survived several Twisters....tm lol
Muscles, one-liners, and action. Absolute classic 80s awesomeness.
It's got everything. It's not even just an action movie, it's an instruction manual for how to live life.
The fact that Sean is like "no, the predator just wants a friend to hang with" had me laughing way harder than I probably should have
I mean... hes the only one
Even in Predators, they still get lonely HAHAHA@@FNGACADEMY
I am here for the random nonsense story time and hilarious talking over the actual movie review
Definitely funny but as I said in another comment it could be possible.
What about if the guy (predator) was just up in the tree on his smartphone watchin porn tryin to bust?
This a-team comes patrolling thru messin him up and now hes pissed, that shoulda been the plot and backstory.
The greatest handshake in the history of handshakes 💪🏼
Arnold doesn’t cut his hair his hair cuts itself whenever Arnold gives the command.
lmao!
Back when making movies took some guts. No agents down there making contracts stipulating protein shakes every 2 hours and a masseuse. Just dudes getting jacked, going down to the actual jungle in Mexico, walking for miles, filming a movie, and making it happen. The golden age of action movies.
agreed! the competition between Stallone, Arnold and van damme..come on... best of all time
@@FNGACADEMY Van Damme was cast as the original predator in this movie. However, he bitched so much about how hot the suit was and that he didn't get any camera time outside of the creature suit, and when they saw his 5'9" frame on camera in relation to Awnold and Carl Weathers and the rest, they knew they needed someone bigger to make the Predator look threatening. So they cast this other dude (I forgot his name) who was like 7'5" or something.
@@oboogie2 Kevin Peter Hall was the dude who played the Predator in both 1 and 2
@oboogie2 Well, in his defend, the original alien suit that he wore look more like a combination of lobster & mantis.😅
i.ytimg.com/vi/A1GfUoB0kog/maxresdefault.jpg
64.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_kvu6o44auz1qa2pzwo1_1280.jpg
RIP Kevin Peter Hall, he did a phenomenal job in that hot as stinky alien nuts rubber predator suit with zero bitching. The director was so impressed they gave him a cameo - Kevin Peter Hall (the Predator) is the one pilot with the sunglasses that's flying the evac bird when they see the mushroom cloud in the jungle at the end of the movie. It's a fast take but you see him say: "What the-?"
I like the irony that as the Predator he was the one who detonates the bomb and then a minute later in the movie we see him without the suit playing the pilot who gives a 'WTF is that?' when he sees the blast from the bomb.
The first Predator starring Arnold Schwarzenegger is one of my all time favorite sci fi films ever made. My dad got to golf with Jesse Ventura not too long ago.
Everybody needs a friend, even Predator
right! poor thing is all alone
Arnold actually got Carl Weathers hooked on cigars on this movie after gifting him a box
Carl Weathers had one of the best scenes in the movie. "Hopper's orders were to go in and get my men and he disappeared!" "He didn't disappear, he was skinned alive!" "And my orders were to go in and get somebody who could crack these bastards!!"
Predators with Adrien Brody is actually a dope movie as well.
Yeah...I think Predators is probably one of the best sequels of the franchise. It was such a cool idea, and executed pretty well. I really wish they'd come out with a proper sequel for Predators, cause of how open they left the ending. There's so much more that could be done with the world they created there.
Exactly, as far as sequels go I believe that movie can stand by itself even. And they seemed to want to leave it open at the end for interpretation or for another movie.@@BigBear--
Prey - the one they did with the native Americans - that was dynamite. Absolutely worth a watch.
@@wnoseyea it was not the worst. Prob right under Predators.
This episode cements Reuben’s legendary status. The commentary is top notch on this one.
No matter how many things were wrong with it, still SOOOOO good.
so good!
"and a can-do attitude!" hilarious!
My wife and I had a date night with no kids when this was theaters. It was a choice between this a RoboCop. My wife chose this because she thought RoboCop would be too ‘’rough’’. Imagine how our night went.😂
Haha, Predator or Robocop are both pretty ultraviolent.
Oh, the days of awesome 80s ultra-violent sci-fi, even though I did not live through you, 5-6 year old me fell in love with you and I still love watching you to this day
Robocop might be the most violent r-rated movie in history.
It was pretty bad lol
The best one liner in the movie.
“Get to the choppa!!!”
The fact Jessie Ventura (seal/governor ) is playing a green beret is wild! Can say he was the first Hollywood contract seal 😂 Another great episode boys! 🤘🏼🇺🇲
There was a old joke
'Black guy from Predator for Governor"
After both Jessie Ventura and Arnold had become Governors
@@intricateinc8566 Carl Weathers was a Oakland Raider before he became Apollo
Not to be picky but Jesse wasn't a Seal. He was UDT which predates the Seal
there's a thing here with Jesse Ventura - maybe you all can clear it up...he was a SEAL, yes. No doubts about that but did he actually serve a combat tour in Vietnam? No disrespect meant by my question btw. genuinely curious
Would "last of the samurai" be a good movie to review? Smaller, less technological force against a larger, more technological force...😮
The guy that played Poncho, Richard Chavez, was the most legit of those guys, he was army infantry and served in Vietnam.
Huh. Ventura was a
Seal in vietnam
@@michaeldbhawker3556 Ventura was a SEAL, but did not see combat. No discredit to him. He pulled on boots and pack, did his time, and did very very tough things 99.9% of us can't even imagine let alone manage. I'm clarifying, not criticising. See his wikipedia entry.
I saw the BTS feature and he said this jungle brought back memories
The writers originally wanted Dutch to beat Predator in hand to hand combat near the end but Arnold was against it.
The soldier with the glasses is Shane Black who went on to become one of Hollywood's highest paid screenwriters. He wrote Lethal Weapon for example.
He actually directed the final predator in 2018. That went on to be the 4th highest grossing entry in the franchise
"Can you believe that's in the '90s?" (Predator released June 12, 1987) Shoutout to creature effects by Stan Winston.
“He seriously has love for him so it was like hella aggressive” that has to be my favorite line ever.
You guys had me rolling with laughter. Definitely the new Siskel & Ebert….but better!
thank you!
Arnie had all the cast get up at 3am everyday to lift weights before filming, now that’s a leader. “Hey Carl do you want. Stogie” lol.
This was the best one, yet; I could barely get a few minutes without stopping because I was laughing so hard at y’all’s commentary…😅😂🤣💀
My man holding onto that bottle of whiskey like someone was gonna take it from him 😆
You never know 😂
In my min, Predator was the greatest action movie of all-time and besides the dumb technical stuff with how this supposed elite team is shooting, from the hip, the movie really still holds up and has thee best end fight scene in movie history.
Fun fact: Arnold actually had severe diarrhea during the shooting of the the movie so in that scene where you see him one arming his gun walking up to his teammate all reared up he actually really had to shit and that’s how he had to posture up to not shit himself
😂😂😂Kurt you got some competition, love this new dude and the chemistry. Maybe add another seat for Kurt, love the show
If you haven't already seen it, you might enjoy Dredd with Karl Urban.
Cheers for another enjoyable episode.
will do bro and thank you!
I saw this in the theaters when it came out in 1987. It was awesome to my young 1st year soldier mind!
I never noticed until Buck made the heating up the knives joke, but I actually think the Predator was communicating back to Ahnuld with the closest equivalent he had to fire, thereby honorably accepting his challenge (other movies show Predators won't kill unarmed or sick or wounded combatants unless attacked).
I think it would be clearer if Ahnuld challenged the Predator with a smoke signal and then the Predator answered with some kind of alien smoke grenade haha
Edit: just realized the laser target was never shown before that nor the thermal vision, so Ahnuld knows fire is the best way to draw his attention while the Predator is using some sort of laser that must glow white hot in his nods, so they're literally challenging each other by fire from their respective perspectives
I love Reuben! He’s everyone’s funny Mexican cousin lol!
LMFAO!!!
I’m going to use this as my tinder intro 😂
@@k1ngprime8 Primo!
The Predator was heating up his blades in order to sterilize them. He's a hunter!
Love the vibe of two military guys drinking alcohol and watching movies. Reminds me of my buddies..11series all the way !!!
Laughing like crazy at you two! Thanks for the giggles.
Our pleasure!

I’m working on it I promise lol
Cheers lol@@k1ngprime8
Can't wait to see you guys do Predator 2 and analyze the "cops" in that film. Can't be any better than the green berets here.
My girlfriend didn't like this movie, and she is an action movie fan; not sure if I should breakup with her 🤣🤣🤣
She failed at an important hurdle. Leave her a note on the way out.
People like what they like. But that’s a tough one…
Get out now. We got 2 governors and one candidate for governor out of this movie. My T levels go up just from watching it.
Red flag!
@@snowbear163 the fact you recognized Sonny Landham(RiP) as that candidate earns you a medal 🏅
Talking about hip fire… I just watched a podcast about the SOG guys in Vietnam (well, operating out of Vietnam into neighboring countries), and they talk about the necessity and their ability with shooting from the hip.
But in the movie case, it is a time and genre specific thing. Bruce Willis in die hard did it all the time 😅
Thx a lot for your great videos btw. Love the humor you guys always bring.
They must have been engaging at very short distances (
As soon as you said he just wants a friend, I looked at your glass. Sure enough, just ice... bruh, you drunk AF! LMAO
haha! you guys are wild...love your breakdowns on the serious stuff and your stuff like this...'he's just going for a bro hug, man' - 'no he's going mano a mano' - perfect. love and respect for your service too guys. peace
Nice Video. One minor thing: Buck doesn't seem to know the Predator Lore. The whole point of this hunt is that it is a Ritual of Ascension. So it makes perfect sense that he discards his weapons. These are Alien Badasses. If they wanted to just kill Arnie they could have easily nuked the whole area from Orbit.
I see what you did there.
For the time that predator design was so dope.
There is a reason they tried a million sequels. Prey was actually decent and gave some new hope for the franchise
For that time? It's better than anything today.
Need more channels like this. Surprised CZcams doesnt squash you all in the algorithm. God bless you for your service. These videos inspire young folks with the right attitudes to seek out military service.
I absolutely love this video! At some point, you guys should do Predators the 2010 film because I think there is a lot that could be broken down in terms of tactics, but keep up the awesome work guys 👏 👍
Great suggestion!
Nah they gotta do Predator 2 or prey
I saw this in the theater in 7th or 8th grade. Yes, that first battle scene was the greatest gun fight I ever saw.
Watching it now, i remember their mission was to rescue hostages. So why did they throw all of their grenades into the camp without knowing where the hostages were?
I've waited years for this one
The Predator is a hunter. He only kills when there's honor to the kill.
This friend is HILARIOUS. Please have him on more! I legit laughed out loud at so many of his comments 🤣
"... and a can-do attitude." That may be the funniest line in any reaction video.
Guys
Predator's mask's design was created by late great special makeup artist, Stan Winston and his crew. This movie created new movie franchise that led to new entry from last year, Prey. That Predator's backstory is from Yautja, interstellar planet. As both of you seen small ship detached from mothership. Predator (Yautja Adult) is going on hunting expedition for trophies and honor. Then he, if Arnold's Dutch didn't kill him, contact mothership.
Omg I’m dying 😂….You guys should have your own podcast comedy tour
You 2 are *_Green Berets out of Fort Bragg Now What tha Hell are you doing here!"_*
How am I only seeing this review now three months after the post date?!?! I am locked in for the next 30 minutes. Thank you for these videos boys, love the content. Appreciate ya!
"And a can do attitude" 😂😂
Great episode. Always a good chuckle guys!
I think Ruben can have a career in comedy! This guy have a contagious laugh and hi is mega funny! And let Able has microphone to. He is funny to ....sometimes.
I believe he was cleaning his blades. That’s why he was heating them up. Burning off the bacteria and waste. Prevent them from getting dull
awesome. some classic movies. keep it up yall. love the insight and laughs
More to come!
Former Green Berets, yes. They are mercenaries for Schafer's company.
Awesome video. I legitimately laughed the whole time. Keep up the great work.
Hysterically funny critique. I'll never be able to watch this movie again without that ringing commentary.
Bro I haven't laughed this hard in a long time!!! damn! my stomach hurts!!!
Predator had an advantage some of the cast were veterans. Arnold served in the Austrian army, Jesse "The Body" Ventura Navy Seal, Richard Chaves, Army infantry. The others were in fantastic shape and had a green beret training them as well to make it more real. According to Arnold they had green beret training them in the morning, went back for lunch and 2 hour work out, then the director would say 'let's rehearse'.
Honestly the funniest take on Predator I've ever seen 🤣. Now on Dutch's service, I remember reading somewhere that he was actually Delta in this but I did some digging and found out more. Served in Vietnam and became a Green Beret and met Dillon there, then got into Delta early on and was part of Eagle Claw, after that went bad he got out and became a mercenary till what we see in this movie. Also, it's disturbingly easy to sneak up on people that are just zoned out, snuck up on a cousin and scared the shit out of him by accident when he was too focused on a movie and that was after I walked up a flight of old ass creaky stairs that made a shit load of noise, still dunno how he didn't hear SOMETHING. Not surprised Arnie snuck up on them........... still funny as hell though.
"Poncho" Richard Chaves was in Vietnam with the 196th infantry brigade. I believe he served in the later years of the war 1971 to 1972 they were deployed there.
Hands down one of the best action movies ever made. God damn John McTiernan made this and Die Hard
Funny thing is that MACV guys actually went to a course where they were taught point shooting from the hip. Watched Mike Glover interview a MACV guy that was talking about it. Super cool stuff.
One of the funniest ones you have done 😂. Thanks 😎
This Segment should be called Cigar and breakdowns
Predator was an action classic and I loved that movie. This was just like alien and aliens were all great movies.
Wine and Rations? More Wine and Rations please. More Wine and Rations please! MORE WINE AND RATIONS PLEASE!!. 😢
"If it bleeds, we can kill it"😮
Maybe videos about A-team leaders - Captains & second in comands - Warrant Officers?
"a confused owl"
LOL
Really enjoy your reviews ;) I am just a civvie from another country, but I really enjoy the mixture of analysis and humour. The no-BS breakdown of what is possible and clearly Hollywood nonesense sprinkled with off-the-wall comments; pure gold ;) I also like the mix of hosts/guests, as each of them bring different analysis angles and humour. PS. You would not like my haircut, it is done with a clipper and no mirror :P Thank you for your work!
Carl Weathers got hooked on smoking cigars in this movie. My favorite cigar is called ASYLUM 13 80X6 and 70X7. Get to the chopper.
yea I really like Sean. Great sense of humor.
Hilarious as always. Was NOT actors fast-roping btw. Cheers!
One of two films I ever took my dad to see. Mind blowing in the theater. BTW Sean, I can't believe you didn't rag on the minigun. I guess it was too obvious.
Predator was a popular father son movie in the 80's. Went with my dad and most of my friends went with theirs, and we were barely in junior high. Not even sure how we cleared that with our moms ;-).
Buck....smh.....it's an alien headhunter he's not tryn to be anyone's homie bro..🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣
I'm not comfortable with how the video is overlayed right on top of Andy's crotch. So when it disappears, I'm like... Staring at his nuts 😂😂
Great content as always!
Great video guys! I will occasionally light up cigars. My favorite is Davidoff Millennium blend. I'm still waiting for you guys to do The Way of the Gun. Let's see it!
DOG SOLIDERS is an excellent companion to this movie.
Jesse Ventura was an ex SEAL, he loved making this movie while the actor who played Billy was " Problematic "!!! Great movie and hasn't aged really.
Buck making me look at the Predator like a long lost bro needing a family is epic. Yeah, Sean, he just bro'd it out with Blane when he shot him in the chest with a plasma cannon.
Favorite episode so far. Now I need to hang with the boys.
EXCELLENCE at work right here 😂 he just lonely, so lonely
I enjoy these reviews, keep up the good work. Maybe you could get someone who is/was a sniper to do the Sniper with Tom Berringer review.
Hearing Buck talk about where Arnold stores his cigars? Remind me to never have one of his cigars...
I did not Google this: In the Cav, we would use grappling hooks on ropes to clear roads of mines. But, true to what You said, the military did not have grappling hooks. We subsequently made our own by welding three rods of medium rebar, and bending a loop and three hooks into it.
Rumor has it he is STILL babysitting that bottle 😂😂😂😂
Like what was posted, man is an absolute legend for being killed by an Alien, Predator, and Terminator.
He was also killed by a Baldwin brother in ‘Next of Kin’ and getting killed by a Baldwin has become quite a common thing in Hollywood
That was 1980s shooting action stance … god I love the 80s action movies !! Hahahahahaha lol also, side note, Arnold gave a great interview about making this movie, and how hot and humid it was down there in Mexico … he talked about how dehydrated and sick he got.. he was laughing while talking about shitting his Brains out while in the middle of the jungle in between shoots 😂
Movie was made in the early 80s bro...not the 90s. I saw every movie of that decade including Predator...the week it opened at the theater with my parents. I recall Scareface as if it were yesterday...it was 1983, I was 9 years old and I had a secret...I was packing my dad's Walther PPK 380. Unbeknownst to either of my parents. Both my brothers were serving at that time in the military. Army and Marines. I wore fatigue pants all the time. Yep, my parents took their 9 year old to see fucking SCARFACE!! What in the hell was going through their minds?!? All the movies from the 70s and 80s made a definite impression on my character. In a few short words...I dont shit from nobody.
Best one yet
When Jesse Ventura was asked what shooting the minigun was like, he answered "Like firing a chainsaw."
That must have given ahnold his haircut.
Love cigars. Used to smoke two cigarillos a day (black n mild, so good don't care). Have a cigar every week or two now.
Yep this Predator movie was noice 😎. Hope for future vidoes review other stuff soon such as the newest Prey video 👀
Immediate thumbs up! One of my top movies, especially as a kid! You guys killed it 😂 couple of sexual tyrannosaurs!!!!
