Awesome guide but having some issues unfortunately. Got everything done like you say in your video but once I load up the games (silent hill shattered memories and silent hill 2 directors cut) and it gets to the starting menu nothing works. For example on shattered memories it says to start game and I'm pressing start and all other buttons but nothing registers?
Maybe the controller settings aren't setup, someone else has mentioned that?

You can try getting a 3.0 USB and that can help a bit, but if you truly want to enjoy it, upgrading to series S/X would be the best option
I had to upgrade to series S. Sold mine for about 120 and bought the series s for 200. Worth it honestly since you get sooo many games for 80 bucks. Plus now all my other games run at 120fps which was an amazing plus.
I followed the tutorial as instructed and have downloaded XBSX2, but when I try to open it, it briefly shows the PlayStation logo then becomes a grey screen and quickly brings me back to the Xbox home menu. Any suggestions?
Download the new links ! And make sure once you download it to open the app, if you don’t open it in time before the link goes down the app will forever crash

Sup bro. I was finally able to get it installed but after formatting my drive to NTFS and transferring all the files over my drive wont appear on the xbox
try using ExFat this time ! And lmk , i had the same issue happen with 2 different drives for me, one of mine only works in Exfat for Xbox and my other only works in NTFS it’s weird haha

@@MacksmusPrime ima drop a retroarch video soon! GameCube / GBA / PS1 / N64 works great on retroarch but there’s some steps to it but at least you got it downloaded and ready 🔥

The reason i ask is because the new not released yet playstation portal is rumoured 2 be able 2 play game pass games if modified if this is true i was curious if xbox series x can run ps5 emulators and if so how?
@@carywise6291 honestly I’m not sure, the PlayStation portal is more of a streaming device compared to a console itself and that’s probably how it would play gamepass games is from streaming the games, there isn’t any emulators that can play series x or ps5 at the moment so we shall see what the future holds :)
@@ReviveMe but if there is a ps5 emulator in the future would it technically be possible to emulate ps5 emulators on the xbox series x? because the xbox series x is more powerful in some ways then the ps5 anyway so in the future if someone say wanted to play a big ps5 exclusive like spider man 2 or gow ragnarok could the xbox series x handle the ps5 emulation?

Hi bro, need some help please? I just downloaded the new XBSX2 app on my series S from the link you posted, but I can't access my saved data off my old XBSX2 app, only reason why I downloaded this new one was because the old XBSX2 app kept crashing when playing GT4

@@SunspotGallery yeah sometimes on mine too but most of the time it will crash in the middle of a race or a license.. but I've downloaded the new app but how to copy my saved game data over to the updated XBSX2 app is unknown
you would have to go into FTP and find the memory card files from your XBSX2 that you have it for an drag and drop. i suggest making a memory card folder on your USB and set your MEMCARD directory to your USB so that anytime you save itll be on your USB for issues like this in the future, hope this helped

Hey bud I don’t think the link in the description is working for the bios. Also the app I downloaded from the link is different and I don’t see the Game List Swttings on 5:37
when you open XBSX2, press the first option and then press the RB 2 times and it should bring you to the game list settings ! and ima update the description

Retail mode doesn’t work for it anymore but you can do it within dev mode !
You Will need to sign up / install dev mode activation on xbox and go through that process, once you have it installed and the set up process finished, check back to my recent videos and look for the tutorials that have dev mode in the title and you could find the ways to install them from the dev mode process

I have a problem, im playing burnout 3 and the emulator still crashing so randomly, i think the game its ok cause the whole emulator its crashing, and now im stuck cause i cant complete the first GP :'(

would you recommend USB memory stick as opposed to USB hdd? With a USB hdd i get the occasional stutter that i don't get with a USB Memory stick

Emulation is rough on the Xbox One S, it is slow on some games but somewhat doable.

Great video. The PS2 covers folder has all the covers... Pointed to covers to the correct directory, but not getting game covers to show

Shit XBSX2 Does not open the installation window. It loads in a loop and nothing happens.
It’s currently down at the moment, the main person who controls and uploads it went on a break and has returned today, should be up either later today or sometime this week, keep trying through the day and it’ll eventually be back up. Once you get it downloaded it stays , but the downloads links get patched an have to be reuploaded time to time. Will be posting a dev mode version install tutorial soon because that doesn’t get patched compared to the retail version.

thank you ! well if you dont have dev mode then i would say this one (XBSX2) would be the best for that but for me since i have dev mode i really do enjoy running the AetherSX2 Emulator

you can play it at native and see if that fixes all the issues, for upscaling youre gonna need to upgrade to the Series S/X

I downloaded it from the new link and installed it on my series x but when I try to start the app it just crashes, it exits back to the xbox home screen!?
Try restarting your xbox , first crash is normal

if you download dev mode activation and go through the set up process and get dev mode, youll be able to install all the apps from there, i have the updated tutorials out already, you just need to set up dev mode

yes make sure the games are extracted from the zip files into ISOs
I wish we had an original xbox emulator and xbox 360 emulator on xbox series x and s even xbox one so that we can play all of the xbox and xbox 360 games even with a disc
