Very interesting droning. I really enjoyed the little texture on top, it add a lot to the sound.

Always interesting to hear other people's take on drone construction. Lots of great nuggets.

You can do all of this, OR just buy the Waldorf Kyra in Sea Blue, it will take care of all these steps hahaha.
No seriously, great drone, nice to get a behind the scenes again.

Cool sound! Yep gotta have modulation that affects harmonic content, gotta play with the midrange even with a very low fundamental pitch, gotta have excitement in the background.

Just beginning to try to make drones on lmms. Looking at yours, I realize I have to put in much more stuff than what i am using right now

My recipe is just one way but I’m glad I can give you something to try. :)

"Pure" drone music is really difficult for me to create. My ears just want to keep adding more and more stuff, like percussion, chord progressions, etc.

Try making it with friends, I’ve found that being a good drone citizen means listening playing less!

So, it must be an in-the-box assumption that you can “play” this drone from a keyboard that’s tied to the pitch of its main oscillators, right? (You never mention that.)

      I assume everyone knows I always have a grid attached…somewhere. ;)
