The walk starts at Newport Avenue - the main business street with shops, pubs, restaurants, antique stores and hosts Farmers' Market every Wednesday afternoon.
The 1,971-foot Ocean Beach Municipal Pier, built in 1966, is the longest concrete pier in the world and the second longest ocean pier in California. The pier supports a restaurant and bait shop (Ocean Beach Pier Cafe), which is located about 200 yards down the pier.

I was surprised to see ordinary fairs in the USA. Everything is like ours, in an ordinary city in Russia: a blocked road, stalls with fruits, seedlings, fast food, etc. :)
It's the Weekly Farmer's Market on Newport Ave.
Humans are all very ordinary and very much the same in their humanity with shades of "colors", cultures, music, language, human stories, loves, hates, emotions, thoughts, very little differences, really, mostly similar, some big, some small, some short, some tall, some thin, some fat, many dumb, few know where it's at, same God Almighty over all for all. Pray, and we may all get there together where it's AT.
BTW, our smaller city in a Mediterranean like climate in a central coastal valley of California also have a farmers market right downtown in old town with blocked streets, food stalls, barbecuers, open air on sidewalks and in street lanes blocked off bars and restaurants, live music, many tourists, locals, and you can use EBT Food Stamp cards.

Brings back memories! I stayed at the Ocean Beach Hotel with my mom in 2012.
I was just here last week. Stayed in an Airbnb directly in this neighborhood. It gets very busy around early evening/dinner time. We had a great time and I would definitely visit again.

I've been living in SD for about 3 yrs now, and I've met lots of very interesting & and strange ppl. There's a eclectic mixer off ppl with all the locals and transplants. I love it!

Support locally owned business. Starbucks and Target can get the hell out! Pack your trash, be respectful of the locals and don’t give money to the trolls on the wall or corners. Enjoy a Pomas hot roast beef sandwich also don’t forget a Nico’s carne asada burrito. And Hodads is a must for the best burger ever. Three of OB’s best family owned business. Drinks at Pacific Shores and Sunshine Co.( be mindful of the locals). If you want trendy drinks and atmosphere South Beach will do. Other than Sunset Cliffs, Ocean Beach is my least favorite beach in the SD area. Great job on the video, but doesn’t entice me enough to go lol.
You should have shown the Dog Beach more. It's the most interesting part of Ocean Beach.

Not yet, it's all renderings for now. The timeline for the construction is still undetermined.

Was a wonderful area for growing up, still have several friends there who never left. Great Time of Life Yet had to move on and have many wonderful memories. Yet Life has been incredible for me after leaving. Do you live there or visiting? Like the memories your video brought back. Planning a visit in the near future

The beaches aren't near as pretty as Florida beaches especially the gulf coast .
Not as humid as Florida!
No humidity in California, and no crazy Florida, conservatives also. Cali > Florida.
The beaches are much nicer in CA IMO...especially if you like cliffs and bluffs that overlook the beach and surfing. Florida is flat, humid, low waves, no surfing... but does have nice sand.
As someone from the gulf side of Florida living in San Diego, they both have their pros and cons. Florida has brighter water and white sand which looks nice and tropical however the cliffs and caves in CA are truly amazing and the waves too
