Exactly, this was a time when ppl worked and lived at a reasonable pace. The rush and NOW society that we live in today is unnatural! These food outlets and most other companies moved from a service based model to a self service, high profit model by the new millennium. This has created chaos and a severe decline quality of services and life, it is for these reason that such a large number of our population are medicated, our bodies are riddled with anxiety due to the relentless pace of life and unrealistic expectations. I remember I could have a Saturday night out with friends on a $20 bill - $10 for a tank of gas, for $5 you could get a large 2 cheeseburger value meal and 2 apple pies, then $5 for a movie ticket. Now it costs $20 just for the meal at McDonalds. Sad.
