THESE GALVANISED DOORS FIT BETTER THAN THE ORIGINALS AND WILL PROBABLY LAST FOREVER

Forever is a strong word but if a standard door can last 25 years then I'm sure these will last at least 50! The tops are on and I really can't fault the fit. I did have to fabricate our own second row door cappings but it's an easy job you can do yourself. Check it out.

Quick tip from a lesson I learned a painfully hard way. If your door tops are stuck, don't ever tap the mounting studs from below with a hammer. The glass will shatter instantly. Just wiggle the door top back and forth to work it loose.

Counterintuitively, the seal between the door top/bottom has the lip on the inside of the door facing up to divert water away from the inside of the vehicle. If the lip is on the outside it will partially block the drain holes in the door top, and it will divert water toward the inside of the vehicle.
