- I have been here in Sweden for 3 years, hanging out with my husband's family, eating Swedish food and desserts yet I haven't invited them for a Filipino feast. Finally after several discussions and padungog-dungog, we have the time. I know they have eaten at asian restaurants around here but a home-cooked asian slash filipino meal is still another experience. I hope you will enjoy this very quick video and let me know in the comments section on what you think?
Or perhaps suggest what they should (dare) try next time? haha that would be fun. :)

If only more filipino would cook and present filipino cuisine this way rather than the usual carenderia style, then lots of foreigner would not be intimidated about our food and filipino cuisine would go mainstream easily. i'm really impressed thumbs up for you kabayan!
I agree with this. Not that I'm against with carenderias, pero yung mga luto nila pang madalian kaya minsan nagiging bland na inaayawan ng mga foreigner. Kaya di natin masisi kung bakit yung mga food natin is the least among asian cuisine

This maybe the normal spread for Pinoys when they invite people for a meal, but for Swedes this is a big feast. Their meals are very minimal, I think.
I agree. And healthier. Less ingredients the better. They find our food complex. Its good and flavorful but problem is too much sodium contents (salt, soy sauce, etc). They cant eat them everyday. Also our food is too much pork and fats
Its not normal. We do that when we have visitors or occations our normal day would be veggies and meat and of course rice and fruits.

Even though you looked tired, I can see that you enjoy what you're doing. I can't imagined doing all that recipe in one go,buying the ingredients in the market and taking notes of the procedures on how to cook all the dishes. Filipinos really are hard working. I remember living with my host family in the countryside part of Malmo Sweden we always eat potato and meatballs ( which is their traditional food ) 😁 and tacos every friday 😂
What a memorable experience you had. That definitely is their typical food..boiled or mashed potatoes and meatballs. And they call it “fredagsmys” every friday. Hahah children look forward to this tacos night.

Jusko, kapag ganito handa ng pupuntahan kong bahay, araw araw kong dadalawin 😂🤣 ang sasarap ng mga pagkain. Parang chef ung nagluto. Ginutom ako. Badtrip lang at dis oras ko itong pinanood. Ending matutulog akong gutom 😭💔

Tortang talong, ginisang monggo, steamed veges with bagoong, fresh lumpia, chopsuey, vegetarian kare2, laing, puso bola2 and seaweed salad.
Bet ko mga suggestions mo. I will share some of these you suggested soon. Never pa ako nkahanap ng seaweed salad dito. Been looking for it everywhere. Thank you shriek.
