All you need is some practice in arts like this i worked at outback steakhouse making the deserts and they always came out ugly and I knew the customer was paying a lot for a very very simple desert so I did stuff like glaze chocolate in spirals or strip added garnishes to make unique shapes. Art doesn't come from the intellect it comes from intuition just tap into your potential and you could teach yourself all of this or watch these type of videos and add your spin to them don't need a degree in anything you are human you have the potential to teach yourself anything for free

Yes I tried making caramel several times, but none has this "right" consistency where it can be shaped like in this video. It's always either too runny or too thick :(

Well, it's for a simple reason ; this video is a scam. Every decoration showed need at least 10 more steps and hours in the making. There is no "easy way to make great food",you need time and dedication to achieve it.

@@Fourbix It's not exactly a scam tho. It demonstrate the technique to make gourmet-level decoration.
Caramel creation is the hardest part of all, and it's besides the point of the video. Pretty sure you could find correct way to make caramel, as long as you have ingredients, good pan, and food thermometer

"Golden Clam" sounds like a listing in the urban dictionary, not a cookbook.
