Can't wait to get Front and rear morimotos lights for my 2010.
The reason the lights are so wide is they are originally made for the Raptor. I just installed these on my 14 Raptor, and they fit flush on the sides. The back still extends past the tailgate but the side are flush. I am guessing they didn't want to make 2 different lights for the same years of F150's.

Great to know....I just ordered the Morimoto Tails and XB headlights for my 2014 RAPTOR a few hours ago and after seeing this video was having 2nd thoughts...then realized this video was for just an F-150...! Looking forward to the upgrade on mine.
I just got the exact same break lights and I’m replacing the exact same Alpha Rex lights they burnt out in less then a year. Should have got the Morimoto to begin with.

I just returned my Alpha Rex tail lights cause I think it lasted me about a year where they just stopped working properly. Also had to exchange the headlights for them but so far they're holding up (knock on wood). Might just go for the morimoto rears cause they do look nice but just like you said not a fan of it sticking a little past that tailgate but nonetheless still clean and liking the build man 👍

Morimoto XB headlights look like a great upgrade for my FX4 but not the tail lights, if you do any off-roading in the woods the stick out makes them vulnerable to damage. Anyone here have feedback on Raptor Recons?
Hope the taillights work out for you, the way stick out is just too much for me, it doesn’t look right imo especially for the price!
Yeah I think the wheel offset and I might get a tad bigger paint matched flares and that should help fit the truck better
I installed mines bout a week ago the way it stick out is an eyesore 😢 I guess they’ll eventually grow on me

i bouggt some red ones with full led morimoto for my 2015 its been 5 years still like brand new i love em i paid 500 theyre 450 now

Yeah it’s a bit pricey but if they hold up I don’t really care at this point lol… I’m too deep into aftermarket to stop but my next vehicle I’ll try to keep stock bc aftermarket is hit or miss with lighting
@@ButtersVlogs I get it man. My alpharex tails are actually kinda flickering when my brakes are applied. After hearing how many you’ve had doesn’t sound promising, but your truck setup is clean!

The AlphaRex tail lights are absolutely terrible. I’m on my 2nd set and same issue as last time. Should have my morimoto tails soon.
So far so great with these! Alpharex let me down for sure
About how far do they stick out on sides and back? Hard to get a good sense on the video. Debating on pulling the trigger to replace my Alpharex
About an inch side and back… not bad at all imo. Love these over the alpharex

4th set??? Seems like all these aftermarket LED lights are trash. I'll probably just stick with factory and a light smoke on the front and back I guess.
