Welcome to Amity Tracks. This is a channel where we discuss a wide range of music related topics. The focus will be on music from the 1960’s through the 1990’s, but not exclusively. Classic rock, progressive rock, psychedelic rock, hard rock, jazz, blues, folk, country, soul…all genres are fair game. From time to time we may dabble in other popular culture, such as film, history or sports. But music is primarily what we do here. The focus is on the music and the artists. We hope to encourage an open and dynamic community with fun and informative discussions not only in the videos, but also in the comments section. Please note that, while disagreement and discussion is welcome, no personal attacks or out of bounds comments will be tolerated. We want to be a part of the positive larger vinyl community and other like-minded, music focused communities.

My first record by Tears for Fears was the 12-inch single of Change. My latest is the recent half-speed version of The Hurting. When Roland and Curt are ON, they're simply fantastic. Thanks for this review of their albums.

Funny you ask that. Been thinking about INXS a lot lately. Sometime down the road will definitely do an INXS video.

I think these guys were on fire coming out of the gate. The Hurting is a heckuva debut for such youngins and the peaks on Songs From the Big Chair are landmarks of the 1980s. The first half of 1989's The Seeds of Love is great- the second half, not so much. It's too bad they couldn't have kept their partnership together because after that 3rd album things went decidedly downhill. Although, their first reunion album (2004's Everybody Loves a Happy Ending) has a smattering of tracks worth hearing again.
