Perrie, the queen of sustained belts. THE powerhouse vocalist of little mix and always will be! She’s also so versatile but that aspect isn’t talked about enough. The way she can go from strong, powerhouse-y vocals, to a gorgeous and angelic head voice, to a beautiful lower register, etc. she’s amazing
@@auspicious93 agreed. Perrie being the best ≠ the rest are bad. But some mixers will be offended. Kinda ironic though since they have no problem naming their favorite member of the group as the best. Just hypocrisy. But people who actually understand vocal techniques know perrie has the best. It’s dumb to argue around it
@@auspicious93 honestly I never join the discussion of who has the most issues etc. all I care about is addressing the fact that perrie is the best. How the rest are ranked is not up to me nor something that I care about. Uk what I mean? I also dc who lipped the most on tour, i care that perrie lipped the least
@@auspicious93 I think Jade or Jesy are the pitchiest, like Leigh’s runs are more clear and clean, and her belts sound more open and clear.
But I still think Perrie is the strongest followed by Jade and then Leigh.
@@auspicious93 Yes most of her pitch issues were from the shaky vibrato she would sometimes use, I understand Leigh had pitch issues earlier on and some of her notes were flat but all members are usually spot on it’s just a matter of who’s the least pitch perfect out of 4 talented vocalist.
@@auspicious93 Yes and not just her vocals recently I’ve noticed how improved her stage presence is 🤩
Perrie is very modest. If I had that voice I'd never stop showing off
one of the best vocalists we've seen in a WHILE... that goes for the other girls too. lm are such an insane group and exceed in everything flawlessly, we won't get another group like that for a long time
The best part is at 10:20 when she hit that high note, she hit it effortlessly while also crying which shows just how good she is

@@majedmousa3871 the song is called good enough but the high note Perrie does in the video is not in the original recorded version of the song.
The reason you get teary eyed like me is because the singers are so great at conveying emotion that we can FEEL it in the belt

After seeing Perri do the high note in good enough live, and recorded a video of it, i couldn't listen to their version on Spotify cause it didn't have it.
Yes, while Perrie isn’t the most agile member in the group, she has gotten so much better. She hit one of her most complex run in their Confetti Acoustic Live Performance. She hit a mixed high note and did a run on it that was so lovely! If you want, give that a reaction

also it’s so interesting to see super old clips of perrie since she got her tonsils out after they recorded the dna album!
After the "DNA" album release Perrie had surgery to have her tonsils removed...and honestly that was the best things she ever could have done! Her voice was incredible before, but you clearly notice from the X Factor performances and the DNA material & tour her voice is much more nasal sounding... but her voice became even better after her surgery, a better tone and so much more stronger. The last video you played here gives that example clearly being that it was from the X Factor days.
