Even Rowan A. clearly did not realize that "Blackadder Goes Forth" would completely shape popular perceptions about the Great War. I blame Stephen Fry, whose portrayal of General Melchett was funny and horrifying at the same time.
I think it's amazing Rowan slipped so easily into whatever era Blackadder was occuring in. From the Middle Ages to WW1 he looked like he belonged there. What a chameleon! AND Tony Robinson as well!
"Rowan's retiring."
Bless. I've never really seen Rowan Atkinson out of character before. What a remarkable man.
"Rowan's retiaring"
*tuts rolling eye's
"No I'm not Tony"
I cannot describe how much I love that bit. *sqeaks*
Rowan's voice is so smooth and nice when he's not screaming at everyone XD It's a whole side of him that isn't seen unless he's not acting.
I love Tony Robinson what a great actor. What a perfect choice for TimeTeam.
+monjiaitaly He is a lovely person indeed!
that place is less than 100 meters from my house
