Sure but if you can find a gold helmet the cool down gets to 15 secs so you always have it
Hey Moose, one of the 3 Ash mains here. The real strength of the snare is usually in buildings to block off entry for healing/reviving, so I usually aim it a little down toward the ground, but you can also throw it at an indoor zipline to cut off access somewhat. You can also use it in the open when someone's behind a rock or something to cut off egress from one side, then either nade or push the other side. That play at 12:34 was also solid, catching someone unawares around a corner. Regardless, it was honestly a pretty good first showing for you, I hope you're coming to appreciate my girl! (P.S. The heirloom gives you superpowers ;))

The most satisfying times to use her snare in my experience are when people are trying to jump pad, zipline or horizon q away, as well as the deploy canons. Most of these situations cause the enemy to float for a second then re try whatever they were doing and in apex thats too long. Also, throwing the snare after you crack someone, then throwing a nade while they're behind cover healing is always a great opening knock. I think if they made it so her portal collapses after 2 other players take it that would be a great buff, if youre solo that could split teams well, having 3 dudes run you down almost instantly is too much most of the time. Being able to go back and forth makes wraiths better, but if ash's was focused on escape that'd be cool.
Also just cause i love ash, i personally prefer twin snare more.

As an ash main, I can say having two tacticals can lead to some funny moments. I pulled a dude off a jump tower twice and killed him. He was fuming.

Greedy snare is now 15s from 24s. But, they buffed CD to 20s from 25s.

I feel the hit box is a lot more forgiving this season, I've thrown them way over peoples heads and still got them. But I definitely think her Ult needed some love, the horizontal distance needs to be longer that and the deathboxes on the map need to easier to see. Using the snare for evacs to catch people on or to keep them from getting on. I killed a guy yesterday throwing it at the top of the balloon 😂 the fact it can just keep resnaring people over and over is hilarious, had a team pinched in a corner and it just kept grabbing all of them 😅

Ash main here 💀 try using arc stars with your snare most enemies go in one direction when they get snared as well as having a fuse on your team who can easily stick them when they get snared

The snares still dont activate fast enough - if they enemy is close they always fly straight past.
Murder Machine + twin snares are the more aggressive unit for ash. One minute to live barely works and greedy snare is no way as good as 2 arcs.

Just watched that a few times… I don’t see how he could’ve tracked them through the smoke
My colour correction increases the exposure on the video along with vibrance/shadows:highlights etc. What y’all are seeing is not 1:1 of what I see. Smoke in game (or on stream) is not as bright and more see through than the final render
This video aged poorly... and quickly. New snare perk has already been nerfed to 15 seconds on a 20 second cool down.
