When the particular crimes of a crime spike are random vicious murders and robberies, you know your society is collapsing, its not just some isolated thing, and its more then just a crime pattern.
Hard drugs legal, no consequences for assaults, theft or breaking laws? Gee I wonder why?

lol if you cant walk around downtown Van you basicalyl shouldnt go out in any metroplois in North America. Vancouver violence levels peaked at covid, and overall, it's still not a violent city relatively speaking. it's fine. Pretty safe actually. 02:10 this guy says it best
"No need to worry everyone is safe in our great city, the only crimes that have increased are random vicious attacks and murders and lots of robberies nothing serious to worry about public go back to your grazing nothing to see here..."
Please don't visit Vancouver BC until the City decides to fix pervasive and increasing crime.
even though relatively speaking, it's still a safer than average metropolis in North America?
Ofcourse violent crime is not rising. Everything is great! Better than ever in fact. A young dad was stabbed to death in front of his wife and daughter recently but it's okay, just a part and parcel of living in this wonderful city.
