The pottery might be an oil lamp. The wick would go in the small hole.
It’s a mystery but through viewers feedback did find out it’s by Don Bendell, his work is pricy.

Yes you should have brought the picture to the checkout with the one you bought because they were both the same artist and same size and I bet they would have sold it to you at the same price as the other one!!

I have that Viking lotus glass bowl in the amber color. There are smaller sized lotus bowls that u stack on top of each other to create a lotus blossom. I stay away from the depression glass as it doesn’t sell well for me, unless it’s uranium.
I pass on many depression for the same reason unless like the blue one which I love had to get. If the many stacked up glowed, I would of got them all 😊

I just filled a cart at that Goodwill last week. My bad for some reason I got this one mixed up with another one because I didn’t find anything good at this one. It’s been probably 3 years since I’ve found something there.

I hate the price game they play. I once find an antique alarm clock from Germany and had no price. I asked the cashier, then she called the manager, then the manager told me that the item shouldn't be there, that it should've been sent to the "high end goodwill store." and refused to sell it to me.
I’m wow! Where should it have been? That makes me question even more, which many won’t give you the answer. I once bought 2 pair of Hoka shoes from savers both prices $12 and had it recorded. They held it behind the counter and gave me a ticket number. So to my surprise when I got home, I seen the prices were changed. I called the location and spoke to a manager. She was nice and wanted to refund me, but asked to just credit me cause I would shop there again eventually and she did. Why would someone do that?! Totally forgot about that till now.

I love this Goodwill. I went there when we visited Las Vegas a couple years ago because Tiffany always finds great things there.

A couple of weeks ago I had a pair of boots that had a sharpie price, when I showed the manager I first asked what price is the sharpie writing. I told them there wasn’t a sticker. He didn’t give me the price even though I asked twice. He said they aren’t for sale as he took them out my hands. Could of at least told me what the original price was 😆
Your blue glass tray MAY be Duncan & Miller pre 1955. I have never found one with markings and they often get listed incorrectly as Fenton so you have to search for the pattern. If it is, then it is the Canterbury Blue line. I found only one piece because it was sold as Fenton but it did not match any of their patterns.

Our goodwill where I live never have anything good employees take the good stuff you find some beautiful glassware my only problem is I wouldn't want to part with any of it lol thank you for the video I enjoyed it as always
My can relate and used to hold on to everything! Lately I’ve been letting go selling things. Some employees tell me they send items to their warehouse so they can sell elsewhere. Either way I find awesome stuff 😊
I've been addicted since the early nineties I used to do Ebay back when it was a dime to list and you could make a killing back before everything got saturated

Hey when you sale breakables do you ship priority?
If it’s over a pound, yes. Sometimes Ben under depending how much they go for. But many are under a pound and for advance ground/first class.
Do you use an average black light that makes more glass than just uranium glass glow or do you use a 395nm one so only uranium glass glows?
Lately I’v used the basic black light than my 365nm uv light.
