Hi Sonny, I've got a tip for you. When you see something like those jerseys where there are more than one, quickly scan the rack for more right away. You were looking at them for a little while when a guy was picking up another one from down on the rack. You could have grabbed all of them first, then decide if you want to buy them. If not put them back. At least you would have gotten one more. What I have learned is to quickly scan the area for anything you might want, then go back to do your detailed inspections. If you think you might want something put it in the cart first, then decide.
You proved my point in the video; I found more than one whiile the other person stopped at one that you seen. Great tip that I follow and many people do. I'm thankful for what I did found. There is plenty to go around. For those who have been following me for a while will know I slowed my videos down focusing on items compared to before when I was fast and made alot of people dizzy with the camera movement. I'm on the go when I'm not recording.
Hi Sonny just sorry I couldn't hear you as well on this video. The sound quality sounded a bit muffled when you were in the store. Other than that I enjoyed the video.
I think it's so rude when you're shopping and people squish past you. It's almost like you want to say "Hey, I'm shopping here, wait for me to finish and you can get your turn". I say the excuse me thing too, but I def have my attitude behind it.
Very! I lt happened a lot during this thrift and got blocked in a handful of times. I just don’t want to share that and focus on thrifting.

Lucky ! Savers up here ( Value Village ) gives the best discounts on Tuesdays @ 30% off for ages 60 and over . One time they put all clothes on for 40% off . That was a mad house . After a holiday, seasonal is cleared at 75% off but is really picked clean .
If you see someone is about to turn down the isle you're on and there's no room.. pretend to cough and sneeze... they'll avoid you and your isle 😂😂😂

When you first came in there was a zebra striped box on the top of the shelf and those are for SWAK ceramic items. I have a whimsical set of elephant items, I.e. teapot, sugar and creamer and they’re SWAK and in those boxes. Next time you should look in the zebra striped boxes for treasure!

One good thing about carrying a purse, the black light is in there! It seems which ever aisle I'm on hoards of rude people come into it from both ends and expect me to move. Great video!

A little surprised you put the tortoise glass back. I've sold several pieces for good money. That was an unusual piece, maybe not a good one to pick up as a single. Take care with those pushy shoppers!
I figure money less spent can go towards something I’m more confident in. I’ve recently learned about tortoise just months ago and been finding mostly vintage pieces with a weight a feel that didn’t match this one.

Oh, those were plant terrariums. They do look like it.
Cool shopping trip.I turn the white shirts inside out, to avoid stains in case I drop them or the basket is dirty. Impressive glass. I’ve never sold a lot of glass, because I don’t want to pack it up. Law enforcement discount is what I use at goodwill. Houston closed the Savers, about 20 years ago.
I thought about it and had whipped down everything while waiting in line and needa be more cautious next time. Better safe than sorry.

I live in so cal but have been to that same savers when we were out there. I scored a bunch of Oakley, mystery and Maui jim glasses and sold them all when I got home

Hi i came upon your channel while searching for thift store youtubers. May I ask what is the black light for when looking at glass? What does it tell you and what are you looking for when examing glass ware? Thank you in advance.
Hi Katrina and welcome! I use a uv black light to help me spot uv reactive glass like uranium. Doesn’t always mean it’s valuable, most of the time is just fun finally coming across one and then turns into using any light to find flaws like cracks not only in glass but pottery and ceramics. There are several types uv black light and have been sticking to a basic black light which majority of people can purchase online to display their glowy glass.
Do you ever go to the discount Dillards in Vegas? And do you have an Ollie’s discount store in Vegas. I find sports shirt in the clearance rack that are new, for 2.99. Easy to flip.
No I haven’t, but thought about it. Creature of habit and gonna try it out maybe next week or sooner after my wife’s birthday on the 19th.
Dillard outlet here only has sales on weekends and it’s a nut house. You can wait in line 30 minutes or longer. No shopping carts so you have to carry everything.
