This is my favorite Luke. Training on Degoba with Yoda. They did great with this set. My only gripe is like you mentioned, they gave Yoda the great closed eyes head without the appropriate force hand and gave Luke the force hand without the appropriate closed eyes head... I do like the pin-less elbow joints, not liking how dis-jointed the knees look though if bent. Also, I ordered from Target and got it in two days for $39.99 shipped.

Found mine at Walmart a few days ago. I feel like this set is almost on par with some of the high end 1/12 figures out there.

I found and opened the anniversary release Luke before I got the pack and every fiber of my being says that the Luke is so good that it is worth having twice just so that I can try to convert the second one into a Bespin Luke with the belt and a soft goods jacket. I just need to find a soft goods jacket.
Edit: I just discovered that if you have the farm boy Luke and don't like the face, you can very easily take the shirt and belt off of that figure and put them both on the Dagobah Luke for a farm boy Luke with a much better head. The pants are inaccurate, but the colors match pretty well so it still looks good.

“Away with your weapon” granted he had on the jacket in that scene. Is the hand not hard enough to hold up the figure? I love the alt hands too. Or smack R2... the alt closed eyes Yoda head is my most anticipated Black Series accessory.

Mike Kaess - nah it was his less muddy Bespin suit with the jacket on. I have seen some jacket mods with this figure.

I just left Target & spent about $200 on on 4 of them and no I'm not reselling at "scalpers" price they are for friends who couldn't find them. Looks awesome also saw about 15-20 Probe Droids at my local Target and wondering "Did anyone not like it? "

great review 👍 I just opened my Heavy Infrantry Mandalorian anD Luke Skywalker Jedi Training and Yoda I love the whole set I got 1 other Luke ilthe exclusive Skywalker Strikes back which I think looks almost as life like as this Luke I agree just wish Luke had a utility belt tho I will add 1

The Yoda in this set is outstanding! I don't think this version could be improved upon. Everything is there: sculpt, proportions and paint apps. Luke is a great figure too, definitely one of the best Hasbro Luke likenesses to date. I agree that a stomach crunch would have made this figure even better. Overall, I love this set!

I was watching this video today, to know if I wanted to buy this at my local GameStop and yes I bought it. And I was happy that I was able to put Yoda on Luke Skywalker foot while being in one hand😃 but fell after 10 seconds, luckily I took a picture.

Wow, this Luke shocked the shit outta me. I admit, I was one of the first to shit on a Dagobah Luke figure. I'm so glad I was wrong. I gave up posing him standing on his hand. I've heard once you move the wrist it loosens the joint and gets too weak to support it. Big Yoda moved to the Clone Wars shelf. That head sculpt is one of the best Luke heads. I might have to get another to replace Bespin Luke's. I'm glad you were able to get him locally. Great review sir!

Great video Mike, as always 😊 Personally, I’ll never get enough Lukes! I’m extremely excited for the Endor one coming out soon. I hope that they rerelease the old RotJ and Hoth Lukes with a better face so that their price tags will actually be justified lol. Can’t wait for the next review mate!

This year, despite the pandemic, has put out some pretty fire figures! (Commander Bly, Count Dooku, Kit Fisto, Plo Koon, Luke (Dagobah), Hoth Rebel Trooper) and theres still more to come!
I imagine its going to be difficult to do a top 10 list. I wouldnt mind if you expanded it to top 15 since theres so many choices!

So, total crime of opportunity yesterday at Walmart. I was there to buy my wife a new vacuum cleaner and walked past the toy aisle. I saw this on the shelf and i guess i blacked out, but the next i know i am setting this up on my AMT Dagobah model set.

Yeah should’ve came with his gun belt and holster or at least the turkey sausage link that Yoda started munching on. I did find a Classified series Cobra Island soldier at a Target. Now I need to find this Dagobah set. Thanks for the review!

And the "dirty boy" comment with the photo was the best! 🤣🤣🤣 What you said, helped me out a lot to decide to buy this pair. Great review, very informative and entertaining! Keep em coming. I actually picked up the Retro Luke (Besbin) recently which is like the exact opposite to these Black Series super detailed figures, totally dated but I love it as it takes me right back!

I'm happy to pay the extra for the alternate hands/ extra accessories, I mean I feel its a little overpriced but this figure is brilliant. I was worried about the joints but no they're great! elbows can be a little funny while twisted, 😂 bad lip reading tickled me, nice reference, the handstand thing is hard I've still not done it, someone in a facebook group did it with yoda on lukes foot no blu tack apparantly but it looked good, I love the neck movement on this luke its brilliant, I feel like I'm ranting, someone made a cast of the hand to use to help during the handstand, good idea I think paint it like a rock bam, anyway, im enjoying the video, can't wait for this next wave, looking forward to the reviews, stay safe!

It's crazy how good it is! Found mine at Walmart. Canceled my pre order on Pulse, but now I feel like getting a second one, cause I want them doing other poses than the default backpack look I'm keeping on my shelf.

Finally Hasbro is starting to give us alternative hands with figures. I hope they continue this with every jedi or sith. Now they just need to add toe bends on their figures to allow make them more dynamic poses.

The SH Figuarts Luke ROTJ figure is very elegant. Unfortunately, the joints jyou attach the alternate hands are are so tiny and delicate they broke off off while I was switching those hands.
Yeah SH Figuarts has some great looking figures, but they’re fragile
Definitely my favourite Luke headsculpt. I like the new Endor Luke's head too, especially given it's meant to fit in a helmet, but I might just see if I can switch it out with this when I don't have all the forest gear on
Also, has anyone come up with a little lightsaber for this Yoda? The older one is probably too big

Great Review. This Set is a Work of Art. You can take Yoda's Robe off btw. I took mine off last night to clean it up and trim off a lot of the Fraying, and to Switch the way the Robe was closed. Hasbro had it closing from Right to Left, where it Closes Left to Right in the films To get the Robe Off You have to pop His Legs off at the Hip (They Come Off Very Easily) then you can slip the Belt Off and remove the Robe. Unfortunately when I got the Robe Off I realized Mine has 2 Left Hands. Another Trick I found while the Robe was Off is that He Can Sit almost Indian Style kinda like He sat in His Jedi Council Chair... which leads Me to believe that We'll be getting a Prequel Yoda sometime Soon. He also can kick His own little brown butt with those Single Jointed/Swivel Knees. Those Knees also help Him sit down further in the Backpack by posing Him Sitting On His Knees in the Backpack. Another Trick I found regarding Luke is getting Him to Hold the Straps on the Backpack. The Trick is removing His Hands and Placing them on the Straps before putting the Backpack on Him. Once the Backpack is securely mounted on His Back then You pop the Hands into the Arms, and Put Yoda in the Backpack. I actually think I need Another one of these sets, just to have another Yoda to display out of the Backpack with the Eyes Closed. Then I can display Luke doing the Handstand. I was able to get him in that pose pretty easily, but He Toppled Over in a Couple of Minutes. Just like He did in the film when He losses His Concentration.

When this first came out it was really tough to find in my area. Walmart got theirs a good 2 weeks after Target, my local Walmart took about 2 weeks to sell a case (6 sets) but the Walmart up the highway hasn't sold a single one yet! They putit on the bottom shelf though you cant see it very well. I am hoping I can grab a spare set or 3 when/if they hit clearance.

Great review, while it may be a pain in the ass, it's worth taking his robe off at least once, (just pull it up out of his belt) and take a lighter flame around the edges of his robe( carefully) most times it will just burn the loose threads down, but be ready to pinch it out if it tries to catch, really makes the robe look better, and gets rid of the loose thread look, vast improvement.
Yes, I also discovered if you pop off his legs, the robe is easily removed. I hadn’t thought of taking a lighter to it, but I’ll do that! Thanks

I really don't understand why they hid the accesories behind some of the front packaging. The extra hands and the extra Yoda head really just added the cherry on top on selling this set. Hasbro out here being too modest with their own product!😂

Don't worry about the high price, it's worse in europe, if the exchange rate was fair , i would have paid 45$=38€,but here this one is 51€, and 59.99€ at our equivalent of gamestop, so yeah i'd love to pay 45$!

Respects for spending minutes or hours working on the hand stand to not be outdone by your CZcams peers. But $45 is ridiculous. At that price, it should come with R2 to complete the Dagobah scene (not that most collectors need another R2, but if I am going to give money to Hasbro, I want to get my value) and $50 for Luke jacket and removal belt for Yoda.

For those of you who passed on this because of the price, check your local walmart I found 3 of these on clearance for $19 and the movie Domino Marvel Legends for $3.
