How are lightning rails with the Kush pad? I saw someone on a Facebook group complain their back foot felt too angled with the kush unless they rode in apex or elevated.

That’s right I forgot about those ! I haven’t ridden them but one time 🤔🤔🤔 those were the last to market

From limited time I’ve had on them and the lightnings, I think the mustaches feel more like w’s, and I feel like the lightnings feel more like the faf’s from the float life’s varial system. Both are fun, but I’m excited to see how the tech rails stuff goes. They seem to be the most obsolescence-friendly

Love my mustache rails. They feel similar to the wtf rails to me
@@Tyson_mcnuggets i second that. not a speed trail rider, but they are much better than stock in dirt going 17mph. i have more control than stock. i only ride and feel comfortable in elevated on these rails though.
Great review, Im finding the nose doesn't dig in when it hits on trails, seems to drag on the lightnings 👍

Very much so agree w/ ur stance on lightning rails. I absolutely love the feel of them and even on gnarly off-road pump tracks the clearance isn’t an issue for me. Locks you in and doesn’t tip.
Curious how those axle blocks with height adjustment would be for the Lightning’s.
Also I think custom shaping could make the Lightning Rails even better just bumping the nose up a degree or two. Elevated mode is too much

They rode in elevated and I couldn’t imagine hitting jumps 🫣🫣🫣 are you up where brooks lives ? I grew to really enjoy these things ! They are super fast 💨💨💨

Does the 3D printed motor cable holder also work with the stock rails? It would be nice to have a holder for each of the cables. I've never had a foot pad click into place like FM says they should. Hot glue should hold the collar in place I guess.
I'm not finding the cable holder online. Is it available to purchase?

Thanks for the review, I'm considering buying lightnings but I love ripping hilly trails and think the clearance will really be an issue. I've been doing some research and saw that the mustache rails were still lower to the ground than stock, but you don't lose that much clearance because the nose and back pitch up like the wtf's. Maybe you could do a review on those in the future. Also, do you feel a little tall on the tail rails? I think I would feel like I'm super tippy and about to nosedive at any second. But overall, really cool video!!
Yeah I will def have to try them out 🥸. 💪💪💪 as far as the GT tail rails…I spent quite a bit of time on the xr version so I’m used to it. With the TFL half and half’s it brought the Gt down half an inch and it’s corrected the height problem enough to be a bad ace shredding machine. It’s up to the 357s with their 3.5 in front and 7 degrees in back WITH the height adjustment to fully dial in…..to beat the tail rails and be the rails for the 2023 race season.
