Paul seems like such an interesting, thoughtful and truly gifted special spirit. He has given me and many so much joy in his music.
He's 81, looks good ❤
Love love love you❤
How I wish I could go and volunteer at the Hog Heaven..love love love pigs
Anthony Mason had an excellent rapport with Paul Simon, which made it a great interview.
What I find interesting about these videos is that they remind you of the 80s. The way the studio is decorated, the presenters, their clothes, hairstyles - wow, it's like going back to the past. Even the tune of the show sounds like something from the past.
Graceland is a masterpiece.
♥
I love that he is not concerned about his legacy. That if people don't listen to his music and digest others music, that is fine. Too many people waste their lives worrying about their legacy and what they leave behind. Just live your life and enjoy it.
Simon is great. He never took on the pop star persona yet he managed to stay relevant for over half a century. If you go through his catalog he doesn’t have any albums that aren’t at least good. I hope he lives to be 100 and makes many more albums. Like Leonard Cohen before him, he seems to only get better with age.
Living legend
Oh wow Edie is still with him, such a great love story!!!
Paul is a genius and doesn't really know it. He's so intune the music flows. Surprised he lives in Texas. Always struck me as a New Yorker. Being one, it's a compliment.
Thats God's Grace. God bless your dreams, Sir Paul.
I am going to pray for your hearing to be restored Paul, if is Lord's will, I pray more years be added to this life. I just found you (73) with ears finally open, my heart is healing and soars with wings...at last. I give the Lord thanks and praise, angels smile and strength, wisdom and understanding spring joy, tears and LOVE. Thank you. 💫
PS I mean added to YOUR life Paul, because of your work I will die happy because you listened and wrote the music.
CBS SUNDAY MORNING the best journalism on TV,...please do a story on the Rescuers and survivors and LYNYRD SKYNYRD MEMORIAL in Mississippi.
Smells like rain looks like
Rage against sounds of silence
Graced melodic blues

Would love to see husband an wife on their property doing whatever as they look like they would be a fun couple😂
They were both once aressted for domestic violence against one another
Paul Simon and Michael Bloomberg could be twins. They look almost identical.
S&G totally lasts, for meaning & musicianship.
I love Paul Simon's music. The pig story is just I don't know, a pig in the house?
It's not Sunday. 😂
🤪
Hope Amazon sells it❤
One of the most awkward seques in broadcasting history. A sanctuary for pigs, versus Simon's casual reference to "singing with Artie"? C'mon.
Stop with the disjointed extracts of an "interview!" This host gets on my nerves!!!!
True story: Years ago, Paul invited Los Lobos to a recording session to help him record. The result was Paul STEALING a song from Los Lobos, recording it without Los Lobos, it becoming a hit, and Paul NEVER paying or acknowledging Los Lobos.
What would that song be ?
Total BS
@@peterpredella1579 I had never heard such a story about this...I could not believe a ounce of it..I agree..TOTAL BS..100 %
He's going deaf...not good.
Good Lord at what point do we say enough? How long must the silent and boomer generations cultural touchstones be revisited maintained as nauseum?
The equivalent would be if in 1969 they were still interviewing Al Jolsen and Fatty Arbuckle. Seriously wtf?
It's even worse because Al Jolsen and Fatty Arbuckle were only 45 years in the past. Christ ole mighty Paul Simon were looking at damn near 60 years.
Please put that guitar down at long last or at least fade into obscurity with dignity.
Looks so OLD
Should he always look 30 something? 😂
@@JustinCase780 looks like he's gonna die
