    Why is the LFC starting lineup even close to being a gamble? It is not like he is starting a bunch of teenagers. Those who got benched have been very poor in recent games - why stick with them and just "hope for the best" instead of giving other capable, well-qualified players a chance to start?

    I don’t understand the outrage over Forest statement? As fan of other clubs we all know that referees are corrupt. We seen it all season, it’s time that someone has the courage to call it as it is

    • @jacoblau3795
      @jacoblau3795 Před 26 dny +10

      It is outrageous that a club says such things. Maybe you can do it as a personal account but as an official statement?? Its embarrassing. Plus a lot of the decisions are as how each person sees it. Just like a judge in court. Every judge is different just like a referee.

    • @cabbagepatch4631
      @cabbagepatch4631 Před 25 dny

      Saying the decisions are unacceptable is one thing. Accusing the VAR of blatant corruption is another. NFFC said the VAR official is cheating and acting with bias with no real evidence. 2 of the penalty claims were 50/50, the third one was pretty stonewall. But referees have been incompetent all season and we’ve seen plenty of absolute penalties not given the whole season. No other club has issued a statement that directly accused a referee of bias this season, which is the outrage over this one.

      @@cabbagepatch4631biased opinion has entered the chat…. The games where we dropped points (spurs 3 arsenal 2 man city 2) has definitely been affected by corrupted officials along with PGMOL

    • @cabbagepatch4631
      @cabbagepatch4631 Před 25 dny +1

      @@sasogonzales8979 no. It’s just been incompetent refereeing. There’s a difference. You only notice it for your own club, but it’s happened to every single team across the season. City by far has had the least, but even for them the end of the game against spurs was incredulous. Even the very first match week, Onana against wolves. It’s been the entire season, but it’s been universal.

    We should address the lack of competence referees shown this year, absolutely. Sides like Wolves and Brentford have significantly been affected by poor decisions. Liverpool could also miss out on the title because of what happened at Spurs.
    What clubs cannot do is blindly accuse officials of corruption. I mean did you look at the statement 😂.
    Forest have shown that their constant tantrums are embarrassing and I look forward to them getting relegated. These lot perform poorly on the pitch and rather than fix anything, they’re always crying and pointing fingers. They really lack class. Shouldn’t even talk about sporting integrity for breaching FFP rules.

    since when is saying a referee is biased crazy? every club, manager, and player has a different relationship with referees. relationships and feelings can create prejudices vs clubs. i like rebecca but im shocked to see no pundits feel mutual about what forrest put out. liverpool has been robbed of 4+ points by VAR decisions. is it crazy to say that club might think some referees favor whoever their opponent is?

      Actually agree with this take - he wasn't really a consideration for PFA awards. His biggest optics problem was likely not being seen by some as the best player on his team at the time, even if the stats were impressive that PL season. Assuming Watkins scores a couple more goals and assists each, though, still no comparison to his accomplishment this season - Watkins is PotS this year hands down.
