I totally agree with Selma! All you do is laugh & find it "cute", when you know the puppies are hurting the mom's nipples! You don't even give the poor mom a break to rest!
@@lisajohnson6516 Exactly they have to feed for about 4-5 minutes at least to get the milk flowing or else they get nothing... when the time is right and they are a bit bigger the mother will push them away and refuse to feed them... i don;t necessarily like everything breeders do , either but this is not abuse
@@annaromano5097 it's true that's not animal abuse. I watched my dog birth 13 pups and watched them all feed and they took turns feeding. They all grew up and I found them homes last year

a lot of pups. first 24 hours all pups should have mom's milk, but after that they need to be bottle fed and rotated to have bonding nursing times with mama and have each a different color of ribbon to keep track who has eaten and when. this gives mom a break to rest nipples, eat and go potty so she can produce more milk. my grandma was a German Shepherd breeder and all 15 pups were strong and healthy due to this system.
