Awesome. Did you use varnish once you finished the clay bead?.Thank you for the lovely tutorial
Genius! I'm a newbie at this clay stuff. Now, my creative bug is going crazy (;
Yeah, it was already pretty lengthy so was trying to wrap things up;) When using these wooden beads to make applique beads I will put just a little cold porcelain in the bead hole if I need to keep it in place on a head pin or wire. You can just pack a little polyclay at the ends before you bake, too. Whatever tickles your fancy;)
The little holes are simply for texture, makes it a little less flat. They are not necessary, just personal preference:) Yeah, the wooden beads make creating round, lightweight beads tons easier!
Fantastic .....
Glad you likes;)
I just watched your video, very interesting, when you bake your finished bead, what keeps the inner bead from melting? What type of inner bead should you use? Thank you I love your beads and so want to do this!!!
wow!!!
THANKS:D

The inner bead won't melt when its wooden.I used plain wooden beads, covered them in polymer clay, the applied my design. Makes them nice and lightweight too;)
Can you make polymer clay jhumka pls and show how to add eye pin to it
I have a question. When you are putting the clay in the bezel do you need to glue it down or will it just stick to the metal without glue when you bake it? Thanks!
MyCozySanctuary If you are baking in a bezel put down just a little TLS (translucent liquid Sculpey) in the bezel before putting your clay down. It will bond it to the bezel very well:)
is it cold porcelain?
I would appreciate if someone tells me how to soften fimo polymer clay easily!
You rushed through the end of the video really fast and I didn't totally catch what you meant with the porcelain. Did you pack it in the bead hole? Great video, thank you so much for sharing it.
are these air dry clay?
Would regular plastic beads melt in the oven? Lol I'm assuming they would but wanted to ask lol
Liz1540 Oh, yes. Def stick w/wooden beads;)
@@TheHandMadeDaily what size wooden beads? Where did you get those?
