- After pitching the Panigale siblings against each other at a racetrack, we took the Panigale V4 and Panigale V2 out on public roads to see which one's is easier to live with on our not-so-great roads. For this test, we had the Panigale V4 S in road-spec and the standard Panigale V2.

A question for Gerard, you talk about you being a big guy, but yet both motorcycles looked like they suited you. How tall are you, and what's your weight?
If you worry about managing horsepowers on both super-bikes, you can switch different modes where, on v4 definitely, reduce horsepower and make throttle stick less responsive
How slim is V2 compared to V4?
I couldn't find dimensions on Ducati website. Just wanted to know how small V2 is, especially width, than V4.
How about a road test between Panigale V2, the 2021 ZX10R, new gen S1000RR and the GSXR 1000RR

By the way I find this statement kiddish for being a supersport rider - "When I was on the highway and on 4th gear, trying to overtake a car, just with slightest twist on throttle I was going way ahead of the car in 140 kmph."
Superbike riders are used to 200+ kmph all time and 140 is something that 300 cc bikes could do easily these days. When I rode the KTM RC390, I could maintain 150 kmph effortlessly.
Anything less than 200 kmph is not a speed worth mentioning for bikes of this magnitude.
True, i live in Sweden and ride a R1 and gsxr 1000 on twisty roads sometimes +250 in the corners and 300+ in the straights

Hi! Can you help me a bit? I have a Panigale V2 I love the sound of the 2-cylinder, that's why I bought it, but it's simply so raw, so shaky that it's too much for me. Are there any 2-cylinder supersport engines that run smoother? or is this the case with all manufacturers?
Supersport. Well, we can't think of any, to be honest. BMWs parallel-twin (F900R) is perhaps the only two-cylinder engine that we feel is smoother than the V2's. But then, it's a naked and you aren't going to get the same levels of performance as the Panigale.

Sadly, we never got to ride that motorcycle. It wasn't sold in India.

How about the heat issues between V2 & V4? Are they bearable?
These only heat up when you're stuck in traffic. It doesn't cause any discomfort once you're moving.
On the V4 there is an engine feature which turn off two back cylinders when you stop in the traffic and it reduce an overhead in your pants. On v2 doesn't have

They do heat up a lot in traffic, but not when you're on the go. Not the most practical bikes out there for sure.
Hell yeah rider aids!!! One day you will be able to just get on a bike and say "GO" or "STOP" "TURN LEFT" ....... OH yeah thats fun!!!!!

I can see why your wrists hurt by looking at the footage, you can keep weight off wrists by engaging your core.
I've tried, the tank is too hot to use your thighs and use your core
