I had to buy two new big boxes and a tape due to my products doesn't fit them. Other my products have long value boxes don't fix them and I used two larger taped amazon boxes to cut them, I made rectangle boxes. I had spent a little money on shipping box organization.

I mostly sell flat, thin letter size 2oz items, and was disappointed to find that it's cheaper to send it as a package instead of envelope in order to get tracking. Seems like a waste to pay $4 to ship such a small thing but I guess that's the price of tracking. I added many items that are less than 4x6" and very thin and flat so if there's any advice for sending very small lightweight items I would be happy to hear it.
I just use Priority for everything (I mainly sell clothes that can go into a priority envelope) that way it's just a flat rate. But that's also because I mainly sell on Posh and I have an abundance of supplies and I don't want to buy a ton of boxes and additional poly mailers

I noticed on the shorts you didn't put it in a separate plastic bag before the poly mailer. I see most people put an additional clear plastic on clothing before shipping. Is this for aesthetics or to keep the item protected while shipping? When I put items in poly mailers I don't use additional clear plastic sleeves on items. But I put an extra tap along where the pre-sticky part is on poly mailer because I feel like water could get in. Is the extra tape necessary and or the clear plastic bags? Thanks in advance!

Can I throw a pair of shoes in a priority shoe box then put it in a poly mailer & send ground advantage? I mean, how would they know? I just like the idea of the free boxes.

Estimate it high. For example for a pair of shoes it’ll be between 2-3 lbs so I’d list at 3 lbs 14x10x6 then adjust when it sells. Always aim high on estimations
The only things I buy boxes for are hats and shoes. Everything else I just reuse boxes I get in the mail and have other people save them for me as well.

Thanks for the video. I just started selling on eBay. For all your examples, did you sell as free shipping to the buyer? Will the post person take the box and scan it from your home location, thus eliminating the need to go to the post office?
Either way you do it you should view it as a total price. There’s trending prices on eBay so if an item is trending at $40 free shipping, why would anyone buy yours at $40 plus shipping so you’d want to list at $40 free ship or like $32 plus $8 shipping. I find it easier to just do free shipping. Just make sure you know what things will cost to ship so you don’t get burned on your projections if you do this. The eBay shipping calculator is a great way to learn these rates. You can schedule usps pickups on pirate ship or just put them in your mail box with the flag up.

If you have free shipping then yes you can ship it whatever you want. If the buyer paid for shipping then that may not be the case. If they paid for priority shipping you need to send priority or another 2-3 day service. If they paid for ground advantage then you can ship whatever you’re ant
$500-1K. But also it’s not just about the capital, I’d recommend you know what you’re doing before joining as we’re a heavy leads group at this point and you can be overwhelmed or spend $500 like that if you’re not sure what you’re doing. Sure we answer questions in there too but make sure you just know the basics of shipping, listing, sell through rates, etc

Use a scale to get the weights and a ruler to get the measurements. As I said in the video, you can go to a usps and pay for them to do it but it’s going to cost 2-3X the amount of doing it yourself which is what I showed how to do in this video.
Can i just send my Item to my local USPS office and have them put it in a BOX and then hold the item till it's ready to be shipped to the customer? is that possible to do? so any items i have i can just have it at my local USPS office and they can send it off. Is that possible?

I don’t. It obviously wouldn’t hurt, but I don’t publicly share my stores because I’m showing what it’s like for the average person without a following to be able to make sales on eBay. All of these sales are organic. You don’t need a social media following at all, all it takes is buying high sell through items and listing at trending prices.

Yeah with only 18 listing to have made 7 sales is nuts! Typically you can expect to sell 1 item per day per 100 listings that you have. To put into perspective I have 2300 listings currently and sell between 15-30 items a day. It’s a game of inventory. Start viewing your inventory as investments and you won’t be so impatient. I’d rather have $100K in inventory than $100K in the bank because the inventory is appreciating over time, cash depreciates
Purchasing the label? I’m new to eBay but why would the seller have to purchase a label when the buyer already paid for shipping?😒 other selling platform don’t do that. Did I miss something?
Whether the buyer pays for shipping or you do free shipping, you buy the label on eBay. It’s a total cost they pay, they’re not actually buying the label, the shipping charges on eBay is just more money in your pocket. It is not like Poshmark where they just send you the label. That’s why it’s important to know how much things will cost to ship so that if you are charging shipping, you make sure you get the amount or if you aren’t charging shipping you make sure you are building that in. Many times on eBay you can make more on shipping from something and then make a little extra profit.
Why do they take there 15% on price it sells for plus shipping cost and taxes , I sold a cd for $3.49 and Ebay took $1.36 and I got $1.13 . That's 55 %
I had the Rollo at first but I wanted to get a cheaper one I could recommend to others so I’ve been trying out the iDPRT and it’s just as good as the Rollo so I recommend it over paying $200-300 for the rollo

Also they have gone up they are like 10.20 now for an envelope but I just charge customers 9.90

Wrap it around the box. As long as the scan is straight on one side that’s all that matters

I wouldn’t, that’s technically mail fraud and you can get in trouble if you do. Those boxes are free to use for priority
