I haven't listened to Queens of the Stone Age in ages (pun intended), but their lyrics were always immature in my opinion. Failure lyrics have always driven deep.
Ken, guys, Fantastic Planet was on constant rotation for probably 5 years or more. Was my favorite album there for at least 3 of those. Spoke highly of you. Seeing Segue 4 made me giddy with delight.
That's a fantastic riff and with it every qualm I had of a follow up album to Fantastic Planet has gone out the window. I loved Ken Andrews solo albums, Year of the Rabbit, and Autolux, and we've all no doubt been watching ol Mr Leeuwen's career path, but this is what we've all been waiting for... that old Failure magic. Lucky I was sat down. :D
This is a great track! Something about it just feels weightless ... nice mix of prog rock and spacey grunge. Love the bass tone as well as the change up at 2:52. Feels good, going to see them with Hum in Philly this August!

I know I will get a lot of hate for this but I need to say it. This song is good... But.. Ken's vocals are a little too high pitch in my opinion. I love the riffs and everything else about it but that pitch.. Way too high. I like Ken's deeper sound when he sings.
