Yeah I like the old one more personally, but this is actually a really good version of this song. The old song itself had a haunting theme to it and I like how this one just amplifies that effect.

Turn to flesh and bring me back to light part sounds a lot like chino moreno from the deftones. It's ken but its got that vibe. I thought chino tried to get ken to produce a deftones record once back in the day? What I heard anyhow. So good.
