The last time Rishaad seemed this excited and satisfied was when he rode the Honda CB300R. But unlike that review, this one has a happy ending.

Your’s and Sagar’s are the reviews I always eagerly wait for whenever a new machine arrives, because you guys are brutally honest and are very bad at hiding your emotions 😅. Coming back to speed 400, It now sets a new benchmark for this segment and makes it all the more necessary and stressful for RE to deliver with the new Himalayan 450. If they underdeliver with the upcoming Himalayan then it would be too tough to get back into the game. Keep riding safe ❤👍

The Classic has an air cooled engine that can do 100 kmph max vibe free, average brakes that fade away before 10K kms, no electronics or slipper clutch and average build quality yet charging over 2 lacs. There's a reason why I don't think REs are the cheapest in this class but fanboys will rip you apart
Triumph never disappoints us with the design (subjective), quality, fit and finish and exhaust sound ❤

many people are calling this bike just a bajaj with triumph logo which is not true. from engine to frame to the body fit and finish its a triumph. yes the clutch and brake levers are from bajaj but thats about it. you cant expect a triumph twin 900 or other big bike from triumph for the price. great bike 👍. on road price is 2.8L

Bajaj had a big role in the design and engineering of these bikes. These are not pure Triumph bikes but jointly developed by the partners.
Cuz Bajaj is just good in terms of design and pricing,engine and build quality is shit af. So people refuse to buy this bike even if it's triumph. If Triumph get collaboration with TVS still people go for this bike more. End of the day 2.7lac on road I blindly go for CB350RS honda. Any day it's reliability, engine refinement have no replacement in the price segment ❤

@@NeonNex200 fit and finish of this bike is very good like other big triumphs which was pointed out in every review. cb350 is relaxed cruiser and this is a modern roadster. both are great bikes for different audience
seen many are spreading negative comments saying its not a triumph. what do you expect from a " 2.8 LACK "on road bike a triumph speed 900 or t100? comparing it to other bikes in its segment it has much better fit and finish, different engine ( not dominar 400 or duke 390 ) and frame. even if its a bajaj and not triumph the bike is remarkable for price

Classics, Meteors, Hunters, Ronins are all in deep trouble. Well done Bajaj and Triumph, the bike will sell like hot cakes.

I'd still go for CB350. At least it sticks true to its identity. This bike looks confusing. Footrest too further back, small wheelbase etc... Just a powerful engine thats all.
Just a powerful engine thats all? higher HP, higher torque, Liquid cooled engine, USD suspension, 6 speed gearbox, lower weight, better instrument cluster, better tyres. but cb350 is bit cheaper have 2L bigger tank, bit larger rear tyre. both are good bikes with different audiences

Hinckley designed and Bajaj built. No problem there. Biggest challenge for them is RE who've had a massive head start in this segment and the price. Good luck both companies.
1 year or 16000 kms per service will be a mega hit. people like me who has work from home job and does need to go out once in a while.
Need to see the scrambler tested as that could be my next bike.

So, under US $3,000 in India, if I did the currency conversion correctly. If Triumph can bring this in under US $4,000 here they won't be able to build enough of them. I would buy one at that price, but I think it makes sense to wait awhile and see if there are any issues with this machine, especially since it has a brand new engine.
I own 3 motorcycles currently (N1K SX, Classic Reborn & 390 ADV, however the Triumph 400 took me by fancy and I booked a blue 🔵 one last month itself...
How do you think this one would complement my garage or line up... Given that I have Classic Reborn and 390 ADV.

I only wish this bike had cruise control. That's a boon for long rides. It's good that this doesn't come with tablet like displays. Who needs so much details for pure fun? Just fill-up the tank and keep riding, enjoy the road and Vista then bothering about lot of data while riding. I believe Triumph too wants this as they set the service interval at an incredible 16000 km under harsh Indian riding conditions. I'd like to see the color of engine oil after 16000 km of city use in Bengaluru or Mumbai.

The price is right on these. A sharp looking bike. I loke the retro standard style, I feel like they really nailed it with this bike.
Loved the comparison shot with the Street Twin 900, I really like how modern the 400 looks, while still retaining the family look! Would this bike be comfortable for 400-500 km riding days, both in terms of ergonomics and refinement?
People do 400-500 with pulsar and 350 uce... It would definitely be confortable. I did 700 km in uce electra with pillion and luggage. With a better engine, your time is reduced definitely
Yea loved that shot but I think the speed 400 has more resemblance to the speed 1200 than the 900 ....

Colour correction looks a bit weird. Seems like there is a layer on top which is warm and dusty.
It should make the video more rich in terms of colour and not flatter. Contrast is missing.
I have purchased Triumph Speed 400 on 18th October. On 28th October I send my bike to service center by towing . Now by the service center bike is not starting because of engine issue. More than one week it is still in service center not solution yet. What to do I am not sure.
do you think it will be possible to replace the instrument cluster with a TFT instrument cluster of higher range triumphs like you can add a KTM duke 390 instrument cluster on a 250?

Taken a test drive, smooth & enjoyable drive, clutch was very smooth, for 5.4 ft height its quite tall. Clean & neat & value for money at this price range. But be ready to spend Rs 6000 for service but it comes after 16000 kms.
