- Balldox by Karin Frank is a charming and delightful tangle, one that can be done as a fill in tangle or a boarder tangle. It has a pleasing and relaxing way about it. Enjoy! Pick up your tangle supplies at my store www.inkidoodles.com
Thanks from Austria😻
Thanks for the clear demonstration.
Big thanks, Melinda, for this great tangle drawing. You were my first teacher when I got interested in zentangle art, and you still are. Just amazing!
What a lovely tangle, Linda! You’re so relaxing 💕
I love this tangle & you teach it so well. I am learning to do gems, also, & I think this tangle would be a beautiful setting for gems. Thanks for being such great teacher and thanks to Karin Frank for creating this tangle.
I really like your work.. thank you for the inspiration

Nice work Melinda. I am working on similar arts lately. Its nice to find inspirations like yours.
I just came across this today. Apparently, I had watched it before a while back but I didn't follow along. This time I did and I really like how it turned out. Thanks!

Jane join us next Tuesday for a live class find a the link on my Facebook page.
What is the pen yr using
I don’t know if you found out the kind is pen she used, but it’s a Pigma Graphic 1 by Sakura. Melinda mentioned it in her tutorial. I recently started tangling and bought a Graphic 3 by mistake - which has a chisel tip rather than the bullet tip of the Graphic 1. Happy tangling!
hi, if you wanted to do this as a border around a square tile, how would you turn the corners?
hi hi! Such a fun tangle and variation.
May I ask what pen you're using?
oops. never mind. I see it now ☺
HOW DO I BECOME CERTIFIED IN ZEN TANGLES??? I CAN USE THE ADDITIONAL CREDENTIALS IN MY DAY JOB
Okay this one has me completely confused. There seems to be no logic to how you draw lines to connect them. Some go under the first circle, and over the second... some seems to go the opposite. Maybe this isnt a tangle for beginners??
purplepaisleypassion some tangles are more difficult than other just keep trying you will get better. It is like learning to write.
@purplepaisleypassion did you figure this tangle out? I had to watch it a few times - new to tangling - but turning the tile/page is helpful to me. Remember to take off on the outside of one dot and land on the inside of the second dot and repeat that to connect all of them. Then do the same outside to inside to do the aura. Happy tangling!
Thank you for the lesson! Excellent
