- A BBC journalist in Kyiv, Hugo Bachega, was delivering a news report when several explosions happened in the centre of Ukraine's capital city.
Just over an hour later, after heading to shelter with his camera crew, the BBC re-established contact with Hugo.
Explosions have been reported in other cities across the country, including Lviv, Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia, in what appears to be the most widespread set of Russian attacks since the early weeks of the war.

Because its not safe and to prevent information leakage(so far only russian were showing their location for a successful UAF strike)? There're very few war reporters that are roaming around the battlefields, they got special permission and dislocation. And such footage will come out with delay so unless the final goal is not some big report(or a movie at some point) it usually is not worth it.
You can watch russian reporters' video, they allowed to be at the battle line, unlike foreign media.

When a bridge is used to transport, everyday, tons of military vehicles and equipment to the frontline... it is a tough sell to claim it was not a legitimate military target. I have cared about and studied the Geneva Conventions for over 30 years and this is not a black/white case. On one hand it is a civilian infrastructure, but used to transport almost all (huge portion) the Russian military equipment and supplies in an offensive war launched by Putin. Not to mention Putin has zero moral lessons to give.

@@hoblon I was talking about how are defined crimes of war, about the Geneva Conventions, which apply at all times whether you consider the enemy right/wrong, legal/illegal, etc. I was saying Ukraine can consider that bridge a legitimate military target, even though that bridge may be important to the civilian populations under Russian occupation (otherwise, civilian infrastructure cannot be targeted no matter the political or legal situation). Of course, Putin here has zero credibility in deciding what is legal/illegal, right/wrong, etc.
And the US can give moral lessons? When President George Bush boasted on TV that they would bomb Iraq back to the stone ages, and then did just that?
