I loved Maya & Miguel!!! I literally thought she was saying “S O S” too 😭😭😭
Also, I had no idea Miguel was voiced by a female wow!!! Just as surprised as I was finding out DW was voiced by a male haha!

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought Maya was saying “SOS”. I remember when I was sitting in my high school Spanish class and it just clicked. 😂😂😂
Jakers ,was a big nostalgia I swear remember it from like 2012-2014 lol.
I watch this kind of pbs kids back in the early 2000s.
I think most of these forgotten shows were shafted to Qubo (Another children’s channel.)

I think Maya and Miguel deserve cameos in a modern PBS kids show. Perhaps Wild Kratts?
When I was in 1st Grade, my teacher would put Maya and Miguel on during our free time and I remembered when I would sit down with my friends while watching full episodes. I remember when it was picture day, we were waiting for our class to get to the library where we were going to get our pictures taken and we watched WordGirl and Maya & Miguel
I remember Dragon tales, Liberty Kids, Zula Patrol, Maya and Miguel, Clifford, Super why, Bearstein bears, Jakers, Curious George, And word girl, PBS kids was known for a lot of shows that lasted atleast 10 years Cyber chase still running to this day, Mr.Rogers, Arthur, Curious George, Sesame Street still running to this day, Dinosaur Train, Wild Kratts still running to this day along with others. The few shows I remember the most from my childhood were Zula Patrol, Word girl, Curious George, Dinosaur Train, Arthur, Cyber Chase, Magic School bus, Bill nye, cat and the hat knows a lot about that, between the lions, Martha Speaks, Barney, and Fetch with ruff ruff man, Although bill nye and Magic school bus I just watched reruns since it ended before I was born since I was born in April 2003.
So let me explain
Arthur we would watch in a summer school program I was in with people with disabilities,
In kindergarten my teacher played Dragon tales a lot either before or after nap time or at end of day,
In 1st grade at end of day my 1st grade teacher would either play Curious George, Between the lions or cat in the hat knows a lot about that on the board ;). And sometimes during English class we would watch between the lions I remember the fun with chicken Jane segments the most that most people forgot,
In 2nd grade I watched magic school bus and Maya and Miguel at the end of the day a lot,
3rd grade in my history class when we started to switch for 2 subjects each year 2 days a week my history teacher would play liberty kids a lot I also watched liberty kids a lot in 9th grade in my history class
Word girl would play a lot at my after school program I went to,
Cyber chase I would watch to help me with math,
And bill nye I would watch in 5th grade a lot,
Along with I would watch magic school bus a lot in 6th grade in my science class,
As for
Zula, Clifford, Jakers, Sesame Street, and the rest I mentioned I would watch at my doctors office it would play in the waiting room or I would watch it at home :).
As for ones I barely remember my list is small Sci girls didn’t like it much, Zoboomafoo only seen I think like a few episodes, Caillou didn’t like that show I only remember seeing the episode mainly when caillou pinched Rosie, Angelina Ballerina only remembered like the intro, and 2 that you mentioned.
Out of the shows you reviewed, I watched WordGirl and Clifford the most! I forgot how incredibly well WordGirl holds up, I need to get the DVDs soon! Would love to see a Noggin video as I watched that channel as much as PBS Kids back in the day! Moose and Zee were the best!😁👌
Love the retrospective man! Clifford was def one of my favourites too, it's right up there as one of the best of all time. It feels so pure and blissful to hear that theme song again. And Wordgirl is just insanely good. I watched it all the time too but looking back now, it legit still holds up as something I'd watch even now.

Yo! I totally remember watching Postcards from Buster back in the day I remember rushing home form school just in time to watch it I had to be in a the 3rd or 4th grade. I remember really enjoying the episodes set in a different country the must.
Yeah, I remembered "Postcards from Buster" but didn't remember much about the episode leading into the show other than the song and Arthur and Buster saying goodbye to each other.
I love how bold and bombastic Postcards from Buster's theme song is and would sing and think about it every now and again. Really sucks that that one lady didn't care about the banned episode of PFB due to the two moms and their family (really glad that we're hopefully moving in a more tolerable world when it comes to sharing different people's lives and such without acting like it's so shocking). Really love watching Dragon Tales, the theme song is etched to my memory deeply.

i just looked up "curious george live action movie" before you uploaded this video today because i thought that it was a thing
I both was annoyed by but also madly in love with Maya as a kid. I wanted her to just leave Miguel alone and stop ruining his life, but also my Latina love started since pre school so... And her friends too. And wow, those VA connections, cool stuff.
And yes, frequently watched postcards with Buster after school. Helped passed the time before going to cartoon network for the day's pokemon or code lyoko episodes lol. Growing up with Arthur before that helped, though i remember just wanting the bunny to go back home lol
"hey what do you know free parking", that made me chuckle.
No Curious George? That’s the best PBS Kids show of the 2000s!

Here's a PBS Kids show that nobody talks about that didn't even air on PBS Kids, but hear me out
Time Warp Trio
It was produced by PBS and was planned to air on PBS Kids. However, for some reason, the show ended up never airing on PBS Kids and instead aired on a channel called Discovery Kids (At one point, it was planned to air on both Discovery Kids and PBS Kids, but only DK aired it). Since that channel was never really all that popular, a lot of people never got to see that show

Time Wrap Trio was Fire bruh!!!!
I remember the Future is Wild animated spinoff series from like 2008. Had a really unique 3d animation style. It's actually on Amazon Prime now.

2. I got Maya and Miguel from Univision's Planeta U
3. How is Clifford forgotten? Also, they made a reboot of Clifford in 2019
4. Curious George is still airing
5. The plot for Postcards from Buster is actually pretty cool (Also, I agree with that woman who wanted that gay episode banned!!)
6. All I know is that one of the cats are voiced by the woman who played DW
7. HOW THE FUCK IS WORDGIRL, THE ONLY PBS Kids anime, UNDERRATED?!
(Also, Pigley is voiced by the same woman who voices... wait for it... NARUTO!!!)
5:04 the only issue I had with between the Lions was there was this guy hanging from a cliff and there were people in a helicopter just singing about it rather than helping him

All of these shows I remember, but Zula Patrol is insane, why tf did that theme song go hard

Noticed this show wasn’t mentioned but there was an actual replica of Theodore Tugboat that used to be in Halifax, if anyone remembers watching that show.

Yeah I never really liked curious George either but I always found myself sitting through it. I really didn’t like it when it first came out I remember the day curious George debuted.
