We are absolutely shocking defensively, picked apart with ease, this would never happen with a prime Super Jan and Toby. If we don’t buy two world class centerbacks we will never win anything. The fact people are talking about buying Lenglet just shows what this clubs ambitions really are.
The problem is Tottenham's number 7, who hardly creates chances and doesn't have the stamina to play defense properly.

This team has so many problems that it's hard to point them out. In a word, Levy's failure to recruit players made Tottenham what it is today. Can't blame Kane for having signed a 6 year extension considering that it was under the best time of Pochettino and prior to Spurs reaching the UCL final. I'm sure he was thinking that Poch would be there for the long haul and that the future was looking bright for THFC because it did at the time. What I can blame him for though is not having ensured he had a release clause inserted in that contract. When he wanted to leave, Levy just set the bar quite high, he never pitched up for training, and the fans turned immediately against him. Now fans understand exactly why he wanted to leave 2 seasons ago. He experienced an ambitious project under Poch to showing more ambition by appointing Jose then no ambition by struggling to find a replacement and eventually landing on Nuno and finally bringing in Conte to steady the ship. Now Spurs are back to showing no ambition again, waiting for that Nuno type appointment. Won't be surprised if Kane runs down his final year of his contract since Levy might once again set the bar high enough to keep him at the club and Kane will have the option of just leaving on a pre-contract in Jan. Nevertheless he made his bed with not including a release clause and now he has to lie in it until then, whether it means he is sold in the summer or signs a pre-contract in Jan. Just really hope he does end up going to a bigger club, same with Son because they've given so much to the club and can't imagine how they must feel to retire without any trophies in the future. COYS!!!

Yeah no European Football is best for Spurs. It will give them time to rebuild and regroup. TBH a lot of negativity has been going on internally at Spurs and that could be a factor that is leading to so many consistent losses

Yes but in both goals our defence was terrible, 0:59 if Davies didnt pursuit him (knowing he will never catch him) it would ve been offside the run was straight, terrible inteligence by the defender, before that 0:38 THERE IS NO MIDIFIELD ??? Then Skipps lost the ball in a key position for Brentford. Yes they won, but we genuinely gave them the match.

Spurs needs over 50% rebuilding with winners spirit, otherwise, sell Kane and Son for their future. This is not a team, no defender sacrifice for the team, is armed with warriors. Change em or let the poor Kane and Son go..
They need to hire a manager with a proven track record of rebuilding teams from the ground up... accept that Kane will be gone if not next season, the season after when his contract is up... they should cash in now and sell for as much as they can.
Give a manager 3-5yrs without risk of being sacked to rebuild the team and start hitting that top for spot with consistency, winning something at least.
In other words... Levy needs to front up the cash and keep his nose out of the team for the next 5yrs... put up and shut the f*ck up Levy.

It's the Tottenham leadership that made Kane and Sonny want to leave this team. Not only do the team members have no sense of responsibility, they don't even think it's their fault, they just attribute it to the team's problem. You can cover all the problems and start the new season with a fresh mindset, but the end will not be different from this one. Refusing to acknowledge and denying the recurring reality is an early symptom of mental illness. If you really want to change, at least you have to replace all the defenders and appoint a manager who can keep the team balanced. The golden time is passing silently.

I agree with most people here but as a semi-pro goalkeeper, I have to honestly say that Forster's reactions are a LOT slower than how Loris is. I mean, he's taller and heavier so he's almost half a step slower in getting down quickly in his dives to block the shots and I feel he's not putting in his 100% effort to actually block the shots, as if he gives up a bit too quickly.

Spurs players don't have a common plan. They play passively backing off, reacting one step late to opponent when defending. No active pressing or tackling. I mean if you have a striker who scores 20 or more goals guaranteed and a winger 10 or more goals guaranteed, all you need to have is good defending.
Even Kane defends well, but Tottenham's number 7, which hardly defends and creates chances, is not needed.
