I loved this podcast. I deal with a lot of dog aggression cases and it was nice to hear the parts especially about giving the support to clients, helping them with the management and giving them good tools to handle emergencies. I think it is a good thing to understand the human end of this difficult situation, many professionals "get" the dog end of things, but we lack on the human end of it.

Just found this podcast. Perfect timing as we have a 4mo old bully & 1yr old shitzu Australian Shepard mix who suddenly started to fight. My 1yr old is extremely anxiety ridden so everything is his and wants control over all people,.other animals, and toys. The 4mo old has 0 manners and no patience. They got along for 3 weeks and then first fight. Our 1yr old starts it and 4mo old wants to finish it. Ugh... No injuries or marks as of yet. Just loud fights and looks scary but thankfully nothing more than that.Weird thing is they want to play but now nervous too now, so no playing until trainer can assist us and their muzzles come in. Trainer coming on the 7th to try to see if we can atleast get them to live peacefully. We don't need them to be friends or play. Just exist. Right now we have baby gates up separating house in half to give each pup their own space but can see one another in a safe way. Fingers crossed it will all work out. Retraining a 1yr old and managing anxiety, while training a new pup to begin with all while trying to change behaviors that have now started. All while retrainer us humans and teaching us to learn the pups behaviors.

Side note both dogs are so loving and good. They're just jealous of one another when together... we will do what we need to, to make sure they have happy lives

I have two small dogs, and they started to fight when the younger dog turned one year old. 😭😭😭
Now, I separated them. But they used to play together. I still have hopes since they are okay when they’re alone.
