  • Join us as we do the 267 nautical mile passage the other way, this time with The Mothership! It’s a near-perfect crossing from Siracusa to Argostoli, with a cooperative wind off the starboard quarter.... except for a problem 50 miles offshore (again), when our prop gets choked on some poly-tunnel plastic. Thankfully this was easier to resolve than the engine failure we had last time. So after a few days in Argostoli, we have a quick crew change, visit Zakinthos and transit the Corinth Canal on our way to the Aegean.
Oh and we completely lose our biscuits...

The modern sailor and crew, eating lovely foods, showers etc, my god I wish I was 30 years younger, when I had a Cutlass 32 and sailed her up the west coast of Scotland to the Orkney Islands, eating whatever I caught and oats because they lasted well😂
I would have loved to have had the luxury of a shower. Love the videos girls keep them coming ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⛵️

Awww thanks Stuart, wow that sounds incredible... T’s Dad lives in the Orkneys, we’d love to go up there.. with oats!!! Less showers when mum isn’t around..... to be perfectly honest!! It’s only when we have water definitely pending!! Thanks for your comment and all the best 👍🏻😘

It looks like an amazing journey! Must've been great for your Mum, Cath, to sail Caladh. Bloody plastic - it must be a problem that's increasingly frequent? I must say, your films are fantastic quality, as is the editing, etc. Wonderful to see you both looking so well. Angie and I are really looking forward to catching up with you when you're in Manchester, and hearing of your future plans.
    Much love, Rich xx

Awwww hello Rich!! Thanks so much for watching :) yes sadly plastic is a major problem. We heard of some sailors using it as man overboard practice, helping in the clean up! Great idea we reckon. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon too and hearing more about YOUR SAILING!!!! Loads of love, Kath & T xxx
