It is absolutely telling that the person on that panel to say "yes I have encountered sexual assault in the industry" is the one black woman up there. So many of my friends (talent & producers) including myself are single and it seems unlikely that will change for us as long as we remain in the industry. Some of us won't be in forever but others are planting their foot firmly down onto this heavily stigmatized soil. The problem comes from the mental health concerns which sometimes turn into suicides that takes our friends away from us. But before anyone thinks it's because they are being forced to do porn, you are sadly mistaken, it ALWAYS goes deeper than that. In fact from the convos I've had throughout my 4yrs in it I have found my friends to be the happiest before, during and after shoots (myself included).
Always pay for your porn and don't forget the humanity behind our characters. Alot of us are more than just SWers. You'd be surprised to find out what else we can do.
