I used my dads 4 year iPad Air 2 to attend my online classes until he gave me his old MacBook Air late 2015 version Although I had none of these while attending my regular school, not even a phone to contact anyone. Looks like were in the same boat here. :)). Have a great day!

I am a business major and i can confirm that you can survive with only an iPad Pro. It takes some getting used to but as long as you have the pencil and the keyboard then you will be prepared for almost anything.
The ipad pro is my favourite back to school item even tho it is now budget friendly, it has a good amount of pressure sensitive which is an essential for digital art and make note taking easier
I was tempted to get a new iPad Pro (with keyboard) but opted for the base model Macbook Pro for roughly £300 more as it’s a laptop and provides more versatility ... Then realised I needed Windows so just installed it via bootcamp on my MacBook Pro (installed on a hard drive for more storage space). I literally have both Mac OS and Windows 10 on the same laptop which is fantastic!
It’s refreshing to see a tech CZcamsr that listens to his audience, I agree with you, iPad Pro is not budget but it’s the ultimate tablet for student life. Sadly, here in Canada with the exchange rates, they are even more expensive

I would love the iPad pro. As a new med student having an iPad pro will help at looking at the lectures whilst making notes. Also it will help in annotating the anatomy pictures. Doctors have a critical role and an iPad will help facilitate my learning. Thank you very much.
I got my iPad pro in 2018. Honestly, especially after iPad os, the only time I use laptop anymore is when I feel bad about not using it. Pretty much gets me through all my classes.

I definitely recommend the Go 2 or if you have a slightly bigger budget go with the Surface Pro 6 or 7. I bought the Surface Pro 6 a couple years back bundled with the type cover + pen for $800.
No Carl, not all of us with an iPad Pro are ballers. Be a darling and please send me that magic keyboard for the iPad with a paper like screen protector so I can get an education the right way.
Instead of the iPad Pro, the new iPad Air has been released and it’s hardly any different for a lot cheaper. It’s a better option for budget buyers if you want an iPad and can’t afford the iPad Pro.
I love your videos.....they feel so good and mostly relatable until we hear the prices. But you go above and beyond to get some rare tech and it makes it all the more interesting..... honestly I think you should have over a million subs🤯
For a budget smartphone, if the camera isn’t your highest priority I’d recommend the Oneplus Nord. Better processor and screen than the Pixel and it’s the same price as the iPhone SE.
iPad Pro would be cool for entretainment, sketching and ocasional work. Tho it's better for when we can go outside and stay mobile. At home it can be a good couch device tho

Idk why people are so mad about your personal preference 🙄 I can’t afford most of the things in your videos but I enjoy your aesthetic and taste. Karl has been this way always so I’m not sure why people are complaining. There’s a bunch of budget videos. There’s nothing wrong with being on a budget but the guy works hard and prefers to drop some coins on expensive tech/ hypebeast products. He doesn’t need to cater to every type of taste because then it wouldn’t be authentic, just forced.
I think students should go for iPad Air , the mini or even the previous pro edition . That way you could save money and spend it on a real supreme backpack 😄. Would love to have the magic keyboard and touchpad but for the iPad 10.5. I haven’t tried the mouse on the iPad yet.
I’m currently using my 7year old MacBook air and it’s kinda giving up on me. The iPad Pro is definitely a really good replacement for my old air or more of a support for my old air so I’m definitely hoping for a good luck. ☺️
Could use an iPad Pro for on-the-go video/photo editing. I work at a college and even their outdated computers I use there in the office are newer than my laptop. It’s a trooper with a modified ssd and a boost in RAM, but it won’t be able to bump up to macOS 11. Bought it used a few years ago and want something current and that could last me for the next few or more years onward.
Here’s the problem, this isn’t “your” back to school bag, the whole point is for it to have items you own and use to go back to school, that’s two conditions that needed to be met, you could have asked people what’s in their actual EDC back to school bag and done a video based on that
