Detailing Flowchart A to Z - How to perform a complete detail from start to finish! - Part 1: Wash

- Every detail begins with the wash process. Use the two-bucket method to properly clean your ride and prevent imperfections. Leaving old layers of wax, sealant, and contamination on paintwork ruins fresh car details and clogs buffing and polishing pads. Fresh wax, clear bras, vinyl wraps, and decals stick better directly to paint, not old wax. Clean Slate releases old layers of wax, sealant, and glaze, leaving behind a truly clean surface for most effective claying and polishing and longest lasting protection. Use Clean Slate with a Big Mouth Max Release Foam Cannon for optimal foaming action and to reduce the chances of installing swirl marks & scratches.
Achieve a deep, bright, and brilliant glossy reflective shine and paint protection in an easy to use spray wax with Lucent Spray Shine! This super polymer based formula is developed using Premium Synthetic Paint Gloss Intensifiers to give your vehicle’s paint unparalleled protection and a show car finish without any streaks or wax residues left behind. Lucent Spray Shine can even be used on wet or dry surfaces- use it after a wash while you dry with your vehicle favorite microfiber towel to enhance shine and protection.

Not tropical..... nice one. I always leave the door sills and bumpers last due to the excess dirt trapped there.
Love these clips, changed my detailing life.
Happy detailing!!
I love seeing the progression of the production quality of these videos. The content has always been solid, but the production has gotten much better since you started years and years ago.
As always, great video. I'll be doing a full spring detail over memorial weekend!
Glad you enjoyed the video!!
Thank you very informative 🔥
Thanks so much for tuning in!!
loved it!
😃😃
Just curious. Why apply the lucent spray shine if the plan is to clay it immediately after. Thanks
The video was very informative. I would like to know what's the tip color you use on the pressure washer. Also, what happened to washing the rims and tires first. Thks for all of the informative videos, plus the information on the product line.
Hi Joseph! Pressure washer tips vary in degrees of spray pattern from 65 being the largest fan to 0 which is a jet stream.
How do u plan on removing things like bugs and tar because i know wiping a mit over that is not going to remove it.
thank you for all the great videos, I want to see you do some nice street motorcycles.
Great suggestion!
Can you add what color pad we should use in each step?
Great vid. This is helpful. What is the difference between Afterwash and Lucent Spay Shine?
Hi there! Although both can be used as a drying aid, Lucent will add more shine and protection.
@@ChemicalGuys I appreciate the response. Thank you.
can the citrus wash and gloss be used as an alternative to the clean state. in other videos you have stated that if used with 3 oz or more it will break down waxes and other coatings
Hi there! When using more than 4oz Citrus Wash and Gloss it has the potential to remove old layers of glaze, sealant and wax.
Nice shoes brother
😃😃
Hi guys. What is the beat shampoo for outdoor car washing? Which is not drying so fast.
Hi there! Try using Mr. Pink to gently clean.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Happy detailing!!
Love all your videos and I’ve bought some of your products!! But can you release the whole video instead of parts??? I just want to do it all in one day and not wait for parts every other day!!
Stay tuned!!
It's all about the algorithm
Every year or two they have a new series on a full walk through. Just look through their past videos and you'll see just about everything you could need!
I can be wrong but it looks like the hood still was a little bit dusty?
Besides that , really nice job.
Thanks so much for tuning in!
"flip your wash mitt over to CLEAN SLIDE..." 😆 I thought that was the name of a new CG product Henry was about to introduce: CLEAN SLIDE
🤩
No disrespect but I’ve only seen you guys wash cars. What about washing a lifted truck?
Great suggestion!
Bro talks faster than my 2-mile run on my APFT

C ya in a Kia, sorry can’t resist
😄
I thought car wash is not to be done in the sun?
Hi Jovan! It is perfectly fine as long as the surface is cool to the touch to prevent the soap from drying, causing streaks and stains.
With an East coast vehicle pay a lot more attention to the undercarriage
Happy detailing!
I’m confused. This is a complete wash, not detail. Where the rest of the complete detail?
It says part 1
Stay tuned!!
@@ajcap I asked a question that you didn’t and still don’t have an authoritative answer to. Thanks for nothing. 😅
@@XSB.504try reading the name of the video
@@solonhefner-nk9du I asked a question that you didn't and still don't have an authoritative answer to.
Thanks for wasting the unlimited internet. 😅
Not following in line with LOTS of your other videos where you preach starting with wheels and tires before washing painted body. Was not as impressed with this video as I was with some of your others.
Hey! Yes, we know we didn't clean the wheels on this KIA. The reason being is we did a small test spot and unfortunately the hub caps on these wheels would not clean up. If you would like to see a full How To video on how to clean wheels, we have may videos on our CZcams channel.
Watch how you talmin bout Trenry😤
