Not bad, I honestly forget that I have Clara most of the time despite her being E1 because I never got her LC and didn't know how to build her without it, in general destruction is like the most versatile path imo, so this works very well here. The LC comparison between the limited 5 stars is really good, showing which one gives most improvement, again giving numbers instead of "oh it's very good on them" is why I'm here anyway.
I would actually be interested in how much value Clara's LC has for her. We all know the limited 5 stars have designed LCs that are best in slot but for the starters it's sometimes different I think, and we tend to forget about them often besides Bronya and Himeko lately, so this general look is approved.
I like the format a lot and look forward to the other paths!
One point of constructive criticism would be to leave some of the summary info on-screen a bit longer; yes we can pause or go back to see it, but the last one was especially jarring - it was on-screen for 5-seconds while you talked about what it was and I could hardly read the text above the infographic before it went away
I also foresee Nihility being a tough one to do this sort of video for since it's a path that has hypercarries, dots, and full-time supports so they aren't as comparable to each other as Destruction units are
having the synergistic characters (like bronya on blade's segment) appear behind the main character's info box was kinda jarring
No matter how good Blade, DHIL, and Jingliu are, you can't deny the best Destruction unit is Arlan. Arlan is really good at Self-Destructing.

Clara is criminally underrated. No, she won't produce the fastest cycle clears because of how her damage is tied to enemy turns, but man she hits like a truck like 100k+ FUAs. Weirdly enough, she's also getting better over time as enemies are getting faster and attacking more frequently, Clara basically got indirectly buffed with the recent fast multi-attack bosses like Sam and Aventurine. I'm glad I lost my 50/50 to her at one point, crazy good unit for being a standard banner.
I'm really torn between getting her (since I don't have Argenti) or Welt for my Acheron. Already have all standard banner characters, including E3 Bronya. I think I'm gonna get her. Welt is probably gonna be benched once Acheron BIS partner is realeased...
@@greaterlordkusanali You can use Pela + Guinafen for Acheron. Replace Guinafen for 5 star nihility (Black Swan, SW, new unit).
If you have everyone else, don't plan on pulling Boothill, I'd say is a good choice
She is good but the problem with me losing my bs 5050 was that I got ruan mei (lost 5050 then went back to pity again) and kafka for her. Then hoyo decided to give me the black man with albino daughter instead of the black woman. Its like rubbing salt into a wound.
Me too! She carried me early game as she was the first 5* I ever got
I lost the 50/50 on Seele and her LC and got Clara+LC instead....never regret it. I love her. Still use her quite often as pseudo Tank Sustain.
Yo should use Guoba dressed as every Aeon for every Path

Also, they've got the same advantage as the lightning dps units.
Thats why for me Nihility is more of a "We dont know where to put the Characters in" Path. You have the Dot Gang, the Debuff Gang and Acheron sitting lonely in the "Actually i'm more Destruction than Nihility" Corner. Nihility is the weirdest Path out of all in HSR

I've been pleasantly surprised with how solid Clara continues to be into most content. Definitely worth building for people who have her unless they don't like her counter style of play.
with topaz and aventurine, clara has seen some rises because these units synergize well with her counterattack mechanics
@@danish2.012i personally think a clara hypercarry works better than a dual carry with topaz since clara needs tingyun for the 100% ult uptime for the extra enhanced counters and agro and that already covers 3 units, and the last is likely a sustain
@@shayaanm7122 well topaz clara tingyun and sustain team (aventurine is ideal) is quite good. tingyun just focuses on giving energy to clara instead of numby
@@danish2.012 i have a feeling sparkle or a different harmony is probably at least on par or better, i cant test it out myself since i bankrupted myself on jingliu during 1.4
sparkle clara is surprisingly good due to how her cd buff persists after her turn so her counters get the juicy crit buffs which she has none of in her base kit
@@danish2.012 I've also had good success with Sparkle, since her buffs last until the start of Clara's next turn.

I really like this. Please do Erudition next as I think there is a lot to talk about with how Erudition and its perception has changed over the past year.
It really liked this format! I think it’s the perfect balance between specificity and general. I know I often think about what unit to invest in and have to watch detailed videos for each. This is much preferable

This couldnt have come at a better time. I just started building Xueyi AND I (accidentally) pulled E1 Jingliu, so the build advice, updates, and lightcone info is all super useful! Goatba delivers yet again

I have finally got time to watch this and it's excellent! I definitely would love to see more and since you started with damage dealers I suggest Hunt and Erudition next, followed by Nihility as they are mix of damage dealers and debuffers

Big fan of this video, very informative and useful. Seeing as we're getting a new hunt character soon, would love a refresher on Hunt characters and their respective lightcones as well.
I wanted to say thank you for creating informative content. I loathe game 'content creators' on CZcams and rarely follow anyone because of the same one minute drivel usually involving memes which I have no interest in, explanations that can be simplified into 10 seconds but extended into 1 minute for no reason and overreactions. (I'm honestly shocked that so many of them are as popular as they are.)
You on the other hand have made nothing but informative and well edited videos that anyone can appreciate. I thank you and look forward to your upcoming content.

love this idea for a series!! i don’t really have a preference for which path you choose to cover next, except i would maybe suggest holding off on harmony + hunt since Robin and Boothill are coming soon and i think it would be nice if they were included in the vids covering their respective paths! 🙌

I love this new series!! It's such a nice overview and I'm sure it will be useful for any new player or old. I definitely learned some stuff about misha and xueyi who I both don't use. I would love if you did harmony next or hunt
I think this is a great format that lets you discuss how units are doing at the moment, with some quick build guides for people using it as a reference for how they might want to build their account. Also, this is a small detail, but I really liked the color coding for the pros and cons, it made it really nice to read.
This seems like a really worthwhile format to pop out every few .X patches as a recap of how the field of units has shifted. Really liked the explanations for Jingliu and Blade as an E0 Daniel enjoyer. Also liked the 'don't just pull for the meta' disclaimer on the top dogs; Jingliu has that something fierce on her kit, and Blade's follow-up style is not talked about remotely enough.

Really enjoyed this! I've been thinking about building a four star LC to leave on someone to minimize Aeon swapping issues (like using a level 1 three star in MoC by accident). Blue Sky it is!

I think Blade is the quintessential Destruction unit. Not too strong DMG, a bit of tankiness, and lesser SP consumption. At least, that's how Destruction was initially introduced. Now, we have units that exceed even Erudition and Hunt in their niches.

Great video! I had been eyeing the Indelible Promise light cone, wondering if that was a viable option to free up Aeon from Xueyi, and you answered that exact question! Thank you for that! So now I know what to do, as I definitely didn’t want to weaken Xueyi too much (her gameplay is so fun!), but I do have so many units staring enviously at Xueyi with Aeon. Now I just need to get lucky enough to pull a few more copies of Indelible Promise so I can S5 it, and not pull Make The World Clamor instead for the 15th time 😂

I would add a mention of subtypes. In this video, it only really applied to Clara, but some paths have members with very different roles in a party. Clara for example is sort of an offtank. You want her to be attacked, but most of the other characters here don't really care one way or the other.
Nihility would show the most obvious contrast with this. You've got debuffers, like a reverse harmony (Silver Wolf and Pela), then there's DoT characters (Kafka and Black Swan), and then Guinaifen who's a little of both. On top of this, there's also the enablers (Kafka and Acheron) whom the previous two styles rely upon to really take the team's damage to the next level.

I can't wait for nihility teams!! I have been loyal to nihility path and follow-up attack playstyle and it was kind of nice to feel rewarded for sticking with characters in this playstyle with the relic sets and new characters that made these gameplay/path even better

I got Jingliu and Lunae both E0 with their signature LC , It feels like Jingliu does more damage and more consistently, shes just a beast once u get her spectral transmigration phase. Lately ive been working on my Xueyi, she reminds me of Qingque, another potential beast of a 4 star unit
Sparkle has been a top picked unit into Clara's comp for a month now, just want to point that out. Even without E1
I was hoping on hearing more on Blade and Jingliu duel dps comp as im, very excited to try it when i pull Blade in who knows how long. but im glad this came out when i am currently trying to get the last 8% crit rate on my newly acquried Jingliu.

It is a freaking good Comp which i used a lot when Ruan Mei was new. But i went Back to my other Team (Jingliu,Ruan Mei,Bronya,Huo Huo). Jingliu can make use of every Support (except Sparkle) in the Game which is way to Overkill to build a good Team for her.

With Boothill coming out soon i wanna see a review of the Hunt path. Single target fell off with tbe endgame moving to multi enemy waves, but now especially with Aventurine for Yanqing and Sparkle for Seele how do the old single target nukes fare?
The 5 star destruction units are some of my favorite in the game. Love all their destructive gimmicks. I hope they keep it up.
Nice idea I liked it and would watch videos for other paths too. About things that I'd add/change: idk about comparing units, sure it's easy to compare when it's Nisha and Jingliu but when it'll come to Nihility how would you compare Kafka and Acheron which similar only in path name; background video feels kinda out of place like in Clara section you just have a random Xueyi gameplay that has nothing to do with Clara and sometimes fragments from trailers, you can add at background gameplay of units you're currently talking it'll also get more attention this way, I'd watch it so more likely than listening on background; also when you said about Flames Afar (11:43) I'd like to see numbers comparison and how reliable, I have Blade and by my experience I wouldn't say he's ofter has 83.3% hp or higher to proc this lightcone second time (I usually run Lynx with him); also personally I think few lighcones options in minibuild section would be nice to see (especially with approximate % of signature); also I don't see point of specifying when unit came out personally idc if character came out in 1.0 or 2.0, it creates a false expectation of idea "if unit came later then character is stronger" which neither always true nor healthy for game with such powercreep.
Btw soon new game mode will come out so don't rush with second part.
Honestly the Jingliu plus Blade team is very fun! And it's quite strong.
'Nowhere to Run' is actually amazing for Clara in Pure Fiction if running no sustain (even better at S1 than her sig for HP recovery) but I'll admit it doesn't have much use outside of that.

flames afar might be good to firefly if hoyo also keeps the hp drain per attack trick on sam boss fight
Even though it has lower stats, I quite like the 3* Mutual Demise LC. I use it on my Blade and sometimes even on Arlan. Imo the crit rate is very valuable and the 3*s are relatively cheap to raise.
