Otto (Ty Trujillo’s band) and Basterdane (Castor Hetfield) were playing at the Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix during the Metallica weekend takeover 1-3 September 2023 in Phoenix Arizona.
Both bands gave awesome performances check them out they are really good and they both have an unique sound 🔥🤘
Castor plays drums in Bastardane his dad actually started out on drums before he switched to the guitar.
The James Hetfield from the 80s is reincarnated.

I met Castor in 2016 and 2019 when he was visiting his sister away at the college I work for. He looked just like his dad when he walked past me. Reminded me of James but with his moms eyes and facial features. I stopped him and told him I loved his dads music and he was surprised I recognized him. He was very cool.
I would’ve just left him alone.

His face doesn't look like his father. But the overall physique, mannerism, drumming and the stance he has while talking to microphone is very similar to his father. Funny how these kind of things are inherited.
It's more likely he's affecting it because he knows he's the son of James Hatfield and people will talk about = more attention for his band

not so similar, but what amazed me in similarities is the way he plays drums is identical to how james played drums in the early 90's drumming battles and switches. Like really it's amore astonishing similarity than same hair color and style.

Such a cool dude, watched them play Saturday night of the Detroit shows. Man he sounds like his dad when he sang!! Talked drums with him after the show and had him sign a drumstick from the show as well. Such a kickass band, look forward to seeing them again many more times 🤘💀🤘🥁
