- Ever wonder how someone comes up with the VLANs they should use at a company? Step into my brain for a few minutes and learn the "thought process" you can use when doing this. NO, this would not be on a certification exam - this is for when you first step into a real job and think, "Wow...I don't think the certification exam covered this."

The way I do is by creating vlans for DATA/Servers, VOIP, WiFi-Mgmt, WiFi-Employee , WiFi-Guest.
I recommend to have separate vlan for WAP management and make it native/untagged.
Thanks again! Really useful for understanding VLAN👍🏻
These inputs really helped in complementing an assignment, great job
Glad it helped!
Good see you back... its been long time
Thank you for such video..
Love you Jeremy 😊
Great addition to the CCNA nuggets. Keep up the good work Jeremy. One thing though, IP phones are being less and less used in the modern office, I cannot seem to find any being used in my work enviorment.
Yes; this will likely happen over time.
@@KeepingITSimple You are awesome, I am preparing CCNA and you are explaining every topic with great detail. You are keeping it simple :-) thanks for everything
Hi Jeremy. I need some clarity on breakdown of vlans. "server VLAN (which includes management of network devices) and managed devices VLAN. "
what is the difference between the two? Aren't they one and the same?
Hello Jeremy
I have question on which layer BGP works..
Could you please make video on it..
I will be thankful.. expecting your acknowledgement
Awesome! Can you cover more stuff that is not teached in exams like CCNA, but still very helpfull or necessary when you begin your first Networking Job? It would be very much appreciated!
That's the plan!
@@KeepingITSimple Sound s great ! Thank you
My Brain: VLAN YEEHAW
Just for clarification because I didn't explicitly hear it mentioned. Would network printers end up on the Server/Static VLAN?
Absolutely
Thank you sir.. So I don't need to have 100VLANs? haha
Thanks Jeremy, and NEVER EVER VOTE DEMOCRAT!
