*UPDATE: TOBEY WANTS MORE MONEY TO BE IN SPIDER-MAN 3 💵*
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is meticulously laid out years in advance, which leads you to believe that Kevin Feige has been planning on the returns of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in Spider-Man 3 for quite some time. Tom Holland’s third solo outing as the MCU’s Peter Parker has been shooting for a couple of months now, so the production is presumably working from a script that includes Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parkers as well as various other returning faces from the previous Spider-Man movies.
However, the huge series of bombshells that dropped a few days ago surrounding Spider-Man 3 revealed that while Garfield is as good as locked in to suit up, Maguire is far from finalizing a deal and remains deep in talks with Sony and Marvel. The 45 year-old reportedly asks for $15,000,000 to sign on the dotted line.
Compared to RDJ’s $10,000,000 payment for 15 minute screen time in Homecoming, that’s an awful lot of money for what may amount to more screen time than just a cameo. But you can fully understand Tobey Maguire’s position. Spider-Man 3 needs him a lot more than he needs the movie if filming is already well underway and they’re waiting for him to join the cast. Not to mention that the actor has hardly been prolific over the last decade, so he’ll no doubt want to be substantially compensated for reprising a role that he played 13 years ago.
They do need him more than he needs the movie. That's true, however, they could always just use the cgi of his Spider-Man for what ever they're planning if it doesn't work out. Weren't there set photos of Maguire in the suit for the movie though. I thought I saw that somewhere.
*Marvel’s Reportedly Agreed To Tobey Maguire’s Request For More Money For Spider-Man 3*
It’s been reported that Maguire is set to get his wish, with Marvel (and Sony) acquiescing to his requests for a hefty payday. We now will have to wait for his confirmation to the deal.
Tobey Maguire finally agrees with Marvel Studio’s deal and will definitely appear in Spider-Man 3. Marvel Studios wants to make a significant change to their films after Avengers: Endgame. That is why they will bet on the multiverse, where anything and any version of a character could appear at any time and why we can see different Spider-Men helping Tom Holland at its worst. Spider-man 3 will premiere on *December 17, 2021.*
Wonder woman 84 is out and Mr. George pointed out the 'R' word and other complications like I'd hoped :D
🤣😂 I'm waiting to see if Honest Trailers does one this week to do a Versus.
You should definitely try to interview Ryan George, that would be so fun!
Definitely on the bucket list!!
Just when I was about to put my phone down, I get a notification that you've uploaded. Life's good now.
🤣😂🤣 Hope you enjoy it!!
Homecoming is my favourite Spider-Man so far. Also, congratulations on the 1.5k milestone. Can’t wait for you to hit 2k👍🏾🥳🥳
Thanks!!! It's been pretty cool to see!!!
The wonder woman 1984 pitch meeting. Fast
😂😆
2:34
😂 How Daredevil is brought into the MCU...like in the '90s Spiderman animated series.🤔
OK... Pitch Meeting takes it. Yes, OT had more "jokes," but for me, they didn't land. And even with the older pacing and flow of the PM, Ryan George managed to be funnier, but in a much drier way. An example of this is when they talk about lazy writing vs mystery... It is subtle, but effective! Spiderman 2 is still my favorite, with one of the best superhero fights on screen (Thor vs Hulk, Cap and Black Panther vs Iron Man in the end of Civil War). Also, in Spi vs Spi: I think Spider-Man 2 then Spiderverse, then Spider-Man Homecoming and FFH, and Spider-Man. Amazing that I missed Andrew Garfield's spider-man? No... that was intentional.... Lots of fun! What comes next? Can't wait!!
Hahaha! Didn't even bother including Andrew Garfield, lol!! I honestly haven't seen those 2 since they came out. 1 viewing, that's it.
I also agree with your hero fights. That train sequence in Spider-Man 2 is still thrilling!!
I personally can't wait to see your reaction to the new Wonder Woman 1984 pitch meeting, it's hilarious.
It's really killing me not watching it! Waiting to see if Honest Trailers does theirs too.
@@OnMyMindEntertainment No problem man, i'll wait 🙂.
😀👍🏿
I love your videos, you should check out tiger king pitch meeting. It was very funny!
I kinda want to finish the show first. I keep getting this one suggested.
Obviously an older Pitch Meeting, giving Honest Trailers the win!
Honest trailer totally won that one
LOL!!!
So I finally saw Into the Spiderverse a couple nights ago. It really blew the other Spider-Man movies out of the water.
It felt fresh and new. I was riveted.
It made me realize how bored I’ve become of the Spider-Man movies in general.
Homecoming felt like I’d already seen it.
Maybe a futuristic Spider-Man movie with an out of shape Tracey Morgan as Myles Morales...
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
That would actually be hilarious!!!
🤣😂 I actually liked both this time- t the pitch meeting a little more
Keaton definitely made the movie even better
I tend to get hung up on little details, eg the WW84 problem. The Far From Home issue I got hung up with at the time, was Peter Parker peeing on the toilet seat in (I think it was a train or a coach?) It's a basic funny joke they could stick anywhere, but unpacking it as I do it makes zero sense. Spiderman's aim is going to be better than like the world's top sniper, like anything Deadshot from DC can do, Spiderman can do better. I mean he needs to have pin point accuracy over long distances and the higher he gets as he swings, so missing a toilet seat would have to have been on purpose, I don't believe the scene played out like it was on purpose. Enjoyed Far From Home, but much preferred Homecoming. I think the gloss over about the Thanos snap in Far From was another thing nagging at Me while I watched it, so much more they could have done with that to make it impactful even after it's resolved.
🤣😂🤣 I never thoughy about that!!
I agree with your on your FFH analysis! It was almost like they were making fun of it.
Pitch meeting was way funnier. I can't wait until they show the trailer for the next spiderman movie.
Me neither!! I feel like we'll get something next month maybe...hopefully, lol!
@@OnMyMindEntertainment im calling it. It's going to happen during the super bowl
🙏🏿
I like pitch meeting s
Into the Spider-verse is by far my favorite Spider-man movie
Lmao i almost fell asleep then saw this
Nice work
LOL!!! Thanks!!!
This a draw for me, both made me laugh and had great points. I think Honest Trailers was a bit funnier with lines like "...just let your pet super hero run amok". But Ryan's delivery highlighting some of the many script issues was excellent.
It all comes to the same thing. A movie that's entertaining, filled with humor and action (if you ignore of some of the fight problems) but it can't leap the "make sense" hurdle in too many places. A powerful suit like that and you don't monitor the young guy very closely, especially considering his age and lack life inexperience? In reality that could result in much destruction, injuries and many deaths, including the pet super hero himself.
They have all the pieces, but putting them together is still the problem for super hero movies. They know how to write interesting scenes, use good characters, block action sequences (somewhat this time), but cannot sensibly write the hows, whys and connection points. It's built like sketch comedy only it's suppose to be a seamless reality.
Yeah, the writing may always be an issue with these types of movies! A lot of times you look past the issues because you're just happy to see your favorite hero on the bug screen.
@@OnMyMindEntertainment True. Too true. LOL.
I agree
I like Far From Home more, because I didn't know who Mysterio was, so the twist got me ^^ And I have been to every location they showed in the movie, which was also realy cool.
One Pitch Meeting you should check out is the Artemis Fowl one.
That's actually really cool!!! What led you to visit those locations? I really want to go!
Also, going in blind on the villain would make this movie a better experience.
@@OnMyMindEntertainment Well I'm from Germany and the Summer before I visited London and Venice and in Spring of 2019 New York and Prague. It was just a huge coincidence that the movie was also set in those exact same cities. But yeah i was constantly thinking I've been there and on that building etc. xD
Lol!! That's awesome!!!
HT gets the win just for the Gwen joke at the end. That was dark.
🤣
Hey, dont know if you're an uncharted fan but what are your toughts on Tom Holland as Nathan Drake? I'm not really sure that Mark Wahlberg will work as Sully
That's the only casting I'm worried about. I'm cool with them doing a young Nathan Drake though. I just hope they don't try to do too much.
I know I am in the minority on this one, but i actually liked Andrew Garfield as Spider Man. His physique seemed spot on with him being very lanky and lean. And he had the snarky attitude that the early Peter Parker had before they wrote him as a super genius.
It may have worked for me if I knew Peter Parker that way. He came off more like a bully with superpowers to me, lol
@@OnMyMindEntertainment yeah, he was kind of a douchebag at some points in the movie for sure.
Yeah, lol
I like the shirt. Very cool.
Thanks 😀
Tom Holland is the best live action Spiderman to date
The miles morales game is so awesome! So many amazing suits and the combat style is a little brutal considering that a teenage boy is in the suit
LOL!!! I can't wait to play it!! I heard it's short though.
@@OnMyMindEntertainment yeah they story is kinda short
I really hate all the Stark Spiderman suits. He doesn’t feel like Spiderman, more like Iron Man Jr.
That's how I've been feeling about the MCU Spider-Man.
TBH they were both a bit on the dry side but as usual pitch meetings takes the cake. did you see the WW 1984 pitch meeting?
Not yet. I'm waiting for the Honest Trailers to do a Versus.
@@OnMyMindEntertainment good move
👍🏿
The newer Pitch Meetings are so much better! Back then Ryan George played the characters way too normal ... the craziness that he later on added to both of them makes the already good content so much funnier.
I couldn't agree more
Might be unpopular, but I am not chill with the last two Spidermen being played by dudes that are not American. I mean, we must have young actors from here that can play a dude from Long Island without having to find dudes that have to hide the fact they have an accent. Oh, and, as a long time, comic fan, I am so ready for them to have a Spidey, on the screen that is the genius and not have to rely on someone else to do the smart/tech stuff. Not to mention, how about one that is naturally witty and not just accidently, witty. So far I have not seen, My Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman, really, portrayed on screen.
I think we got pieces of smart/witty Spidey in all 3, but you're right, not one of the protrayals have both. There was a little of it shown in FFH with Peter talking about the multiverse.
This was my biggest gripe with the MCU Spidey having to rely on Stark tech to get things done.
Also, I have thought of that with Spidey and Superman, LOL!
PLEASE do Amazing Spiderman????.... please!
Absolutely
um. did he just say debreeze? like he pronounced the "s" in debris?! lol oops.
