the "Cheap KONE" lift you mentioned - It is useing LCE Controllers - same controlelrs all ecodiscs are useing! the OTIS lift have a generator, wich started up when you pushed the ground floor, thus taking some seconds. The generator was already Active when you Went back up. Your hotel must be older than the 90´s and they decided to only modernise the Stannah lifts but didn´t mind the service lift untill it was done for good - and then replaced it with the ecodisc. that is the most sence I can find here!
in Manchester Stagecoach run the 43 from Piccadilly to Manchester Airport every 30 minutes between 8am and 7pm on Christmas Day then boxing day is sunday service for MAIN routes only
I am very surprised the whole public transport is shut down on 25. december. That is insane and I didnt expect that from a country where I got to know that public facilites are more open than they're closed. I have read something about it in the internet. At least Heathrow Express gets a replacement service with a bus. Anyways, that is insane. Even smaller German towns offer minor public transport on the most important bus lines and the trains go like on sundays. I think it is very backward for a city like London to turn all the public transport down on a certain day.

The lifts near that are being modernised by Axis elevators and they said they are going to modernise all of them. There is also 2 old Otis goods lifts in bm bargains but one has been modernised and the other one is hidden away behind the shelves with it's original buttons.
There also used to be an orona in primark but evil owl has replaced it with one of his generics. Asda and sports direct have really slow stannahs, Iceland has a old generic hydraulic, next=oaklands and tkmaxx has a weird Ecodisc with weird floor numbering and the ecodiscs in debenhams have faulty emergency intercoms.

(burp) ecodisc has numbers. dumbwaiter seems runs well. oh yes we like exploring strange areas. you found a three speed lift door. manual door lift looks roomy for 7 people. econolodge is the US version of travelodge. what would a hotel keep in barrels? on 24th/26th december some transit is sparse.

We have no trains on Christmas day, but Mana were running buses. The Christmas day buses were free and all of the drivers were volunteers.
