Hast du bei der Entlüftung einfach nur PC-Lüfter genommen? Und hättest du sonst noch ein paar Tipps dazu das zu bauen. Ich habe tatsächlich genau den selben Octavia und habe jetzt mega Lust das nach zu bauen.
Habe tatsächlich einfach nur pc- lüfter genommen, ein netzteil dran gesteckt (mit so klemmen) und weil ich 3 stück hatte einen nach außen und zwei na ch innen gericbtet. Glaube allerdings alle nach innen zu richten wäre auch nicht falsch🙈. Der schwarze einsatz ist 2mm kunsstoffplatte vom OBI. Worüber du dir auf jeden Fall noch gedanken machen solltest ist die wasserdichtichte. Bei Regen ist mein Fenstereinsatz nämlich nicht zu gebrauchen, da wären Windabweiser vielleicht ganz praktisch.
Have you had problems with condensation? In my golf variant the windows fog up easily even at 18c weather. Also wondering if its bad for the car...
Maybe i need a pc fan too to the window.
Condensation wasn't really a big problem in my car but I heard from many others that they had condensation problems. I often used my pc fan in the window or just let the windows a little open. Therefor you can use winddeflector that rain can't get into your car. Especially in colder nights the windows stayed closed an I had a little condesation especially on the rear window, but everything dried in a few hours.

It is a ventilation insert with 3 pc fans which can be operated via the second battery.

What are the dimensions for the width of the suitcase. Did you custom-make the slatted grate? What glue (or nails?) did you use and what "textile" material to join? Thanks
The trunk is 1m wide between the weels. I need to messure the length but it has to be around 2 meters long (rearseats down). The slatted frame is custom made with staples, special nails would be better. The textile material is a cotton band.

Yes, from the alternator. If you drive daily it's enough.
Or you can add a secondary battery with Victron Cyrix to be sure
My second battery was charged by the alternator and an automatic cut off relay. This victron cytrix sound like it has the same function
Wo suchst du eigentlich Parkmöglichkeiten bzw Schlafmöglichkeiten? Ich meine und wo du richtig ungestört schlafen kannst
in der app park4night findet man häufig etwas und noch besser ist es auf google maps die satelliten ansicht reinzumachen undsich einen schönen ort zu suchen der von häusern entfernt ist undbeim hinfahren darauf achten dass es kein naturschutzgebiet ist😉 ansinsten gibts natürlich auch nen par echt nice Campingplätze

I was thinking about Superb, but Octavia would be a cheaper (and probably a newer) option, just not sure if I'd fit with sleeping like that.

I'm 177cm. I think the octavia will do for you too, you just have to push the front passenger seat a little further forward. Anyway, I got a 2m * 60cm mattress in.
No, The octavia won't ,I'm also 189cm and the Superb I have is perfect.

War eine Kunsthoffplatte hobbycolor vom Obi baumarkt, die hatte genau die gleiche dicke wie die Fensterscheiben und ließ sich einfach bearbeiten
I see you removed the back seats(their base). Is this difficult to do?
The base is very easy to remove, simply lift up at the front, pull up, push the metal rods individually towards the middle so that they hack out and that's it.

195*120cm, partly only 100cm (wheel arch). It's only 7cm high, 10 would be more comfortable 😅
Die selbst gebauten Entlüftungseinsätze für die hinteren Seitenscheiben sind aber nicht regenfest, oder?
Ich überlege gerade selber ob ich für meinen Sportsvan sowas bauen könnte, der ist etwas kürzer wie der Oktavia aber dafür etwa höher ... 🤔
Für Luft bei Regen braucht es Windabweiser, gibt es für jedes Modell spezifisch

Richtig cooler Ausbau, aber den Feuerlöscher würde ich ne kleinere Variante bevorzugen der nimmt zu viel Platz weg.
Ja hatte ich überlegt, aber dann kann man den Feuerlöscher fast weglassen, so nen 2kg löscher hält ja nicht lange durch...

I used a foldable 7cm camping foam matress. I recommend a higher one.
Mich würde mal interessieren wie die Scheiben abgedeckt sind
Habe Luftpolsterfolie welche beidseitig mit Alufolie ummantelt ist auf die Febster zugeschnitten, sodass sie ohne weiter Befestigung eingeklemmt werden können. Bei der Heckscheibe habe ich zusätzlich Klettpunkte verwendet.

Oh, I am not sure. I have to messure it. But top of the matress has to be ~40cm above the trunk bottom.
@@Technikcheck2016 thanks. I figured 40cm as well. How thick the wood scantlings you used in your design? Have you documented your construction somewhere?
Unfortunately I don't have any documents/pictures for the expansion. Just the video. I think they are 2,4cm*2,4cm. The boards of the slatted frame are 12*1,5*100cm.
A recommendation: I built the construction wider in the door area than between the wheel housings. That immediately increased the sense of space.

ich habe dein erstes Video zum Octavia Ausbau eben bereits kommentiert und habe mit meinem quasi exakt das gleiche vor. Ebenso einen Ausbau für 2 Personen, den man schnell und unkompliziert ein- und ausbauen kann.
Welches Material hast du für die Rahmen-Konstruktion und für das Lattenrost verwendet? Und gibt es die Matratze in der Form zu kaufen, oder hast du hier auch was selbst gebastelt?

Würde im nachhinein jedoch eine höhere empfehlen.
Für die Rahmenkonstruktion hab ich einfache Fichten kanthölzer ausm Baumarkt genommen und mit den billig Winkeln zusammengeschraubt.

Hi, welche Matratze benutzt du denn? :)
Hatte mir auf Amazon ein 3fach klappmatratze bestellt. Die hat die maße 120*200*7cm.
Einen von den 4 Teilen habe ich dann in der Breite auf 100cm gekürzt damit das ganze zwischen die radkästen passt.
Im Nachhinein hätten es aber ruhig 12 cm an schaumstoffhöhe sein können🙈

Mit nem küchenmesser den schaumstoff abgeschnitten und die stoffhülle so gelassen wie sie ist. Das stört überhapt nicht.

I ordered the mattress from Amazon and cut a part to fit between the wheel arches. It is a four-part folding mattress with a height of 7cm, but 10cm would be recommended.
