I watched many of her videos. She's like one of the only classical guitarists that plays with body, and emotional dramatics on a technically demanding style of guitar playing.

What impressed me most about this performance is that it didn't sound like a "piece arranged for guitar". There were no pauses for awkward hand position changes, no rubato to cover for tough spots. This sounded like she took the harpsichord music and played it on the guitar. Most impressive. Also I loved her variations in tone as one might hear on a two-manual keyboard. Excellent work! I will be buying her records.
@MusicbyWinston I appreciate that you mentioned rubato to cover for the tough parts. So many classical musicians do that these days and it grates my nerves. Rubato has a purpose and a place, just not at the beginning and end of every single phrase.
I've listened to, played, recorded and produced so much music in my life that I seldom make it all the way thru a piece anymore. But this lady? You've got to be kidding me. Just a joy to watch! Hard to believe how effortless she makes it look. And that little bit of sass is just the icing on the cake! So good!! I've heard this piece played on everything from an orchestra to bamboo marimbas but this is hands down the best version I've ever heard. ❤❤
No matter how good you are there is always room to improve. But the space between notes is of equal importance. For myself at least..
This is so dynamic. The left hand is so fast but the right hand is even more impressive.
Now it is quite clear that Mozart wrote Rondo precisely for the guitar and precisely for Vera, since apparently no one else can play it on the guitar) You're a sorceress, Vera, keep it up!

I didn't think anyone could top William Kanengiser's version until I saw this video. Well done. Incredible!
Her version it's way better in the scale's section 1:55 . Kanengiser's version did a bass line accompaniment, her version sound like a march rithmym chords that original score has.

Идеальным исполнителем на классической гитаре по глубине проработки я считаю Диего Бланко, теперь ещё и Вера Данилина! Когда она играет, то перестаёшь видеть и гитару, исполнителя и его технику, а на первое место выходит сама музыка, которую переживаешь - это высший критерий! 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Yes she is fantastic, there is also another Russian girl that plays that piece in excellent style, on a 10 strings guitar, a decacorde, her name is Marina Krupkina. Both girls are the best playing this piece. It seems Russian girls have special talent for this.

A world class musician can only become an "entertainer" (like Lang Lang) when she/he has an abundant of instrument and musical skills over-and-beyond in excess of the necessary to just play the music. I am aware that Mozart could play cello and violin as well as piano and harpsichord, but guitar? Do you have a source for this?

The *Turkish Rondo," as it's called has become one of the all-time popular melodies, often heard on ringtones and other popular settings. (It's a genuinely fun to play if you've gained the skill to do it well.)

I never know where to start when listing all the factors that make Ms Danilina such a superlative player. Her technique and facility are jaw-dropping, her tone displays a wonderful mixture of power and delicacy, her colour changes are subtle and intelligent, her concept of each piece she performs is imaginative and original, her presentation of the music is dramatic, soulful, witty, human....etc. Even in a light-hearted piece such as this one can witness all these factors at work. If there is a better player in the world at this moment I have yet to hear them.

after 8 years of playing it is rare to come across a master piece like this, this is the type of stuff that makes my jaw drop. Stuff like this just brings me back down and humbles me when i think im playing pretty good, this is more than a masterpiece perfect technique the fingering the tempo the left hand dexterity the execution everything is flawless.
