One of the reason i like Mr.Brig.General Kulayige is that he expresses his views on all basis, ie individual and society.
More to say is that the government should put more emphasis on mental problem issue not only in the security operatives but also the society. Sometimes as a person you feel overwhelmed en feel like giving up on life how about them(soldiers)????

Thank you Solomon for your question on the safety of Ugandans. Ugandans are not safe at all if always the answers given are based on denials and defending of this situations and it is now worst with those think they have security around them for their guards are not happy with what they see there bosses makes them carry from supermarkets to their cars, and yet they go home and sleep on an empty stomach as they rely on their salaries and loans to make ends meet!.

If the training the general went through back in the days is the same training that the army is going through now, then we have a problem

Generali kulaigye, please don't lay the blame on errant soldiers squarely upon their upbringing and LCs. Updf upon their recruitment into the forces has a duty to change their mind sets and remunerate them adequately. Problem is coming from prolonged periods of poor little pay and non promotion.

This is not an army issue if some one goes out and kill or even rouge, its a problem of an individual, who has lost all his capabilities to be in a social activities. The army should not be held responsibile for such actions. Now who is paying this journalist? First of all a journalist should be ahead of his questions to gain the right answers. in this case it would have been better to talk to a mental doctor rather than a general.
Doctors went on strike on Monday and the police was there to arrest them, you will want to know why are they being arrested? Why dont the government send the police to the person who is in charge of their salaries? Now that should be the simply way to cleariry any doubts. Now i hope you guys understand why this journalist is not doing the right job... and who ever is paying him is just wasting money. A problem is to be solve by going after the source.
