  • Pike fishing on Scotlands wild lochs can be hard work in the colder months but once you are able to find the pike the rewards are often even greater. join me as I spend a number of nights searching for a rumoured giant.
I have tried where possible to keep the location as obscure as possible but please if you recognise where I am don't mention it in the comments as it attracts the wrong sort of attention in most cases where locations end up being used as rubbish dumps with fish being killed or caught with traces down their throats.
I make these videos to help demonstrate a sustainable way of fishing for these fish and I hope you enjoy...

Cracking fish. This is what it's all about. Been out in some horrific weather myself this season and not had much luck (small jacks up to 7lb) but you just have to keep going.
Really enjoy your videos and appreciate the effort involved.
    Tight lines bro.👋👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Great video G. Time consuming but well worth it. Easy access to that loch. I fished exactly where you set up and was plagued with eels. I suspect that’s what took the lamprey at the end. I had a mackerel stripped to the bones on one trip and an eel wrapped round my trace that took 20 minutes to get free.
    Keep the videos coming.

Yeah they’re a pest mate. That’s why I use lamprey and eel now. That last one was definitely a decent pike as there’s were teeth marks along 6”s of the bait but been pestered by them before.

Set your clutch for a good fighting drag, and leave it alone, let the rod do the work.

Im with you on this. I see people constantly doing it. Fishing tackle manafactures spet a lot of money developing drags. Fix it once in the morning and let it alone. I cringe when i see people playing a fish and they a constantly moving their drag, how do they know how tight they have tightened it.
