I would love to sing with Enge! I have changed my number one bucket list wish…I would love to talk to him and tell him his story encouraged me to be strong during a surgery…and I came out still singing. I am 55 so I was just born when Release Me went to number one. My Uncle used to sing it to me all the time. Englebert at 85 is a better singer a pedigree singer…he can send fire through his eyes..he is a different kind of singer…I recognize myself in his dedication. I can live vicariously through these videos and set a harmony to his melody…there is healing there for me. There are not too many out there today that can match this lovely man’s passion for his craft. Thank you Enge for the music….

All his sisters are lovely ladies, and such personalities. His brothers, also..all have some features that are similiar. As a matter of fact all of his relatives that I had the pleasure to meet, are always so friendly and helpful. After meeting his mum and dad, I understood why Engelbert is such an exceptional person. A marvelous couple, and so proud of their son, Engel. Sad, sad days when they left this earth. Enge and his Voice filled with Magic have made these 41 years, a pleasure for me.

Here I am late in the night after watching Elvis practice tapes...and after hearing that mess...I needed to hear the real crooner and swooner...my dear Enge..who as far as I can understand is the world's unsung hero...he made a few mistakes in his life but when he sang there was and still is a real knowledge that he earned every person who ever loved his voice with honesty. Honest voices belong to those with the best hearts. I have criteria for listening to a song. It must hit my heart and gut...it must appeal to all my higher senses and there must be intellect and pure beauty to the melody. I hear this song before I sleep at night..I have a chronic illness that prevents me from singing...I am not great. Above average..But I loved the people. To move people is a special thing. I listen to Enge and he never lets me down...thanks for the sweat and the tears...and giving us so much to enjoy!❤

Back in those days Engelbert cheated on his wife, but was determined to keep his family together. Before DNA, many women claimed, that they had a baby by him. He actually lost some of these paternity suits & paid child support, until these kids turned 18. He was never willing to see any of these kids & now these kids are in their forties. Sep. 9,2018

Indeed he is, okrabay, better than ever. Experience is a marvelous teacher. Each year Enge brings something new to his stage appearances, a hairstyle or color, mustache, beard, and this year, it is a weight loss of over 30 pounds. As to his music, he is always open to new ideas and songs of all types. His new CD is just about finished, and should be released before Christmas . It is going to be a Country album. After a brief vacation, he will be back onstage in California the end of this month.
