I installed the AG400 cooler and the principle is the same, only difference is that there was no need to remove the fan. Thank you

Pure rock 2 FX had better board mounting by the looks but having the cross bridge already installed would of been nice instead of adding it manually, I also found the FX screws just kept turning, not ever installing a tower cooler I did not have a feel for how tight those screws need to be, I did not wish to over-tighten & the manual said "screw tight". I did not check my back plate - oops, I did as you with the box though. I 3DMARK stressed mine last night scored "good- 8200" CPU max temps was 73 degs returning to 35 degs near instant. 👍
Good review Mike and clearly shown how to install the cooler.l think the cables on it though look to be twice .as long as necessary.l would find it a problem to make a neat job of hiding them on my MSi mobo 👏⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hello sir which one is better cooler Deepcool AG 500 or Deepcool AK 400?
both very similar really, the AG500 has the upper hand though for raw cooling power
Looks nice tower cooler with thought given to ram clearance and finstack design. Two concerns, first the mounting plate with U shape holes not as strong as drilled holes imo. Second the gaps between copper heat pipes seem odd design. If for high end cpus are they effective? Thanks for sharing Mike and Kath 🐈👍 Just a thought ref long cables, roll around a pencil to create a coil so look ok and takes up slack!

I prefer mounting that uses 2 separate parts rather than one piece like this one as it allow mounting one side at the time so the back plate don't fall off from the motherboard. So it can be mounted as a replacement without too much trouble or having to remove the motherboard from the case in certain case.

Can this be done on a assembled system . I dont wanna take out the motherboard as it takes a lot of time to put it back. So can you suggest if this fan can be installed on an already mounted system or if there are better alternatives. Processor is 5600g and Board is Asrock 450 pro 4 rev 2.
yes it can be installed on a built system as long as there is still access to the AMD mounting hardware on the rear of the motherboard.
the 5600g shouldn't get very hot and this might be overkill really the id cooling se214xt might be better value
Can someone tell me if a painted radiator has the same capacity to evacuate heat as one without paint? Do you use paint with a high heat transmission index? I think that paint is a thermal insulator that prevents the flow of air from effectively dissipating heat. Hi mike , So I installed this on my 5600x and while installing the fan I applied way too much force . The cooler is slightly misaligned but the temperatures are ok . Is it possible that I might have damaged my processor by applying too much force ? . I regret buying the AG500 over the AG400 as the AG400 had no need to remove the fan for installation. Now I think even installing the stock cooler would have been better than installing this
you might have just bent the heatpipes a little, if it still works don't stress about it too much
@@mikesunboxingthanks alot for the reply, my graphics card was stuck in the pcie slot (the pcie lock was not unlatching ) so I did it while the motherboard was inside the case that's why it all happened. Is it possible that my processor is damaged a little because of the bent heat pipes ?
None of the black or orange things from the fixing kit fit properly on the board...
