    Design and Build from start to finish. Build does require some special tools and some mechanical skill.
    I built it to save my back when working on lawn mowers and snow blowers.

    Excellent video format. No CZcams fluff or egotistical/narcissistic viewing of humans. Also like that you provided description of information in the presentation.

    Very good realisation, but as I agree with using carjack for initiating elevation, in the second stage of frame elevation more simple and efficient methodes are availables... F.NAJJAR. MD from Tunisia.

      Lifting from that level and with the scissors down that low a first jack is needed. The second jack cannot over come the forces and lift with cargo.

  • @glassmakerx

    Obviously I'm missing something here. Why is the table two-stage? It looks like it would work just fine using the horizontal jack alone.

    • @gse244
      @gse244  Před 2 lety +1

      No the first jack is unable to push the scissor joint at the low starting point. With the joint that low it would take a tremendous amount of force. The first jack easily raises the joint/table past that point.

    • @gse244
      @gse244  Před 2 lety +1

      I meant the second/horizontal jack is unable to lift alone.

      @chuckgunder1451 if you would pivit the base of the jack and position the jack lower than the lifting point, do you think it would have worked with only one jack?

    Не понимаю зачем два домкрата. Достаточно одного горизонтального. Не, человек сделал стоящую вещь- респект! Но делая подъемник для легких мотоциклов и мопедов типа хонда дио, буду устанавливать только в горизонтальной плоскости. Ну или два спаренных но опять таки в горизонт.

    • @gse244
      @gse244  Před 10 dny

      You need the first jack to raise part way a little. The single horizontal jack can not lift or takes a lot of extra force to lift from a fully open scissor state with even a small amount of weight to the table. I wanted the table to lift from the lowest point.

    '' SERIOUS QUALITY '' ...yup, no doubt. ALOT of those drill ' bits ' coming from china, those yellow ones, AREN'T WORTH A plug penny ! Don't even make very good awls, or punches - only good for pounding into a wall ; use for hanging hoses. Cheapest ' steel ' ever...chinesejunk. I use very old, GOOD drilling bits - all black ! or titanium, or carbide tipped.
