Hello I think I may have an answer to the subtle glitter problem I read online saying to do the paint first then when it dries mix a clear coat with the glitter that way it sparkles more intense because you can see through the last coat and it also protects your paint from scratches and such I'm renovating my house and planning to use this method for a small bedroom Primer, paint, then clear coat mixed with emerald metallic glitter extra chunky Hope this helps!
Hi thanks for your comments. Sorry I no longer live at this apartment and unable to upload the results for you, but I can tell you that I was happy with the end result. It had a lovely subtle sparkle to it that lasted for over a year before I noticed the sparkle fading. I painted over fresh textured wallpaper and it came it lovely. If I do anymore videos like this in the future I will upload the result. I went in to B&Q and purchased white Valspar emulsion and had them mix it with a pink shade of my daughters choice to make a pale cool pink shade. They mix it up in store to the shade you choose from the colour column. I hope this makes sense? I mixed the emulsion and glitter together at home. I can’t remember how many bags I used exactly sorry. Kiran Bhullar how many sachets of glitter did you use and was it Valspar? We were told to coat the wall once with your emulsion then add the glitter to the other half of the tin for the last coat
@@DonMusic38 yes it was Valspar - at first I added 2 as I was told to at B&Q with my 1.5L paint. I ended up repainting my wall and only added 1 sachet of glitter and that did the trick.
I'm literally about to use this in my final coat of color paint on my sport bike using an HVLP gun.... I hope it works and doesn't just ruin it cuz if it does that's about $100 plus worth of paint that I just as well throw in the garbage. I guess technically I will be if I have to sand it all off
Hello I used quite a lot in my pot but I would recommend for the best result using only 1 sachet. The effect will be subtle. Do a once over coat before adding the glitter, then add the sachet to the remaining paint and coat again. Be sure not to use just any old glitter it has to be compatible with your paint. Good luck
Update: holy shit be very sparing with the crystals if you're just looking for a light effect. Sprays from a gun perfectly fine does not clog it. But holy cow it looks like my bike ran through a stripper
I may be ignorant, but I thought this didn’t work, and that you had to like add the glitter on top of wet paint once the wall was painted because otherwise, the paint will cover the glitter and you won’t get any sparkles just like a weird texture. But I don’t know it would be very cool if this did work, I love sparkle ✨

How'd it turn out looks so pretty!!! I'll bet it's just beautiful!♡
It was quite a subtle glitter affect. I was hoping it would turn out a little more sparklier than it did, but it still looked pretty ✨
@@DonMusic38 well, nothing wrong w subtle! Have so much fun!
If u put glitter in paint the glitter gets painted and wouldn't look like glitter anymore
